This Gucci Mane hit might have been the anthem to your rock star lifestyle this past summer, but it’s just now beginning to catch on in the mainstream, so believe it or not, the music video is arriving right on time. No elaborate visual concepts here either. The Mr. Boomtown directed clip is pretty much what you’d expect for a song about getting wasted. Thick chicks. Pool parties. White guys chugging alcohol. The whole nine. Of course, Plies shows up to deliver his anti-tight jeans verse and Shawty Lo even shares some screen time too. The other Gucci videos we’ve featured on here were banging and this one is no different. Don’t miss out.
Tune in to Complex.com every morning at 8 AM for your daily “Wake N’ Watch” video.

Earlier this month, Wu-Tang’s Raekwon was in Los Angeles for the DVD release party for Street Kings. Sorry, the only update Rae had on his Dr. Dre-produced album Cuban Linx II is that it’s due in February. But he still rocked the crowd at Hollywood’s Element nightclub, where Complex toasted some JC Cognac to celebrate the release of the 20th Century Fox movie starring Forest Whittaker, The Game and Common.
Check out the video below to hear the party’s special guest spinner DJ Muggs talk about scoring Street Kings, as well as Raekwon’s take on the Officer Rick Ross situation…
If you want to learn how to enjoy the summer, just glance at an Armani Exchange ad. The Italian fashion brand’s latest campaign features nice beaches, and the right female eye candy to help dudes get their mind wrapped around the season. So when it came time for Complex and A|X to throw a warm weather jump off together, we were ready.
Last week in McLean, Virginia, over 250 people crammed into the local Armani Exchange store for booze, food, free gifts (with purchase), and good music by DJ Harry Hotter. Take a look at some of the ladies (worthy of an A|X ad campaign?) who attended below.
L-R-G and Courvoisier have travelled a long road together in the past month. The two brands put their heads together for a partnership that has produced an exclusive line of products (jackets, mountain bikes, Nintendo Wii’s, to flat screen TV’s, etc), giving consumers an up-close preview of the limited edition line at pop-up shops nationwide.
Last night, for the final leg of the tour, super-producer Just Blaze and Complex’s DJ Treats turned the Lower East Side’s Reed Space into a virtual sweat box, pumping out heavy-hitting tunes for a memorable close to an even more memorable collaboration. See more photos of JB (sporting his Megatron Don x LRG tee), The Alchemist, DJ Clark Kent, and LRG rep Jonas Bevaqua after the jump.
You don’t have to be a UGK fan to know that Bun B is the man. Take the recent Complex party with L-R-G and Courvoisier for instance. The underground king hosted the Houston leg of L-R-G spring tour at End Zone Fashions, where he and guests like super-producer Manny Fresh greeted some of H-Town’s finest eye candy. Oh, L-R-G and Courvoisier’s cool line of products from their recent collab were on display too. See what you missed after the jump.
This week started out legendary. On Tuesday, Bun B and Microsoft Zune previewed his new album “II Trill” at New York’s Spotlight Live. As tracks from UGK’s latest double-disc banger, “Underground Kingz” set the mood for a highly anticipated night, free food and open bar aside, Houston’s finest made his grandiose entrance followed by a chain of girls “that could have won the horse awards.” Bun happily greeted every guest, shook every hand, and took every picture'a gentleman by nature. Country cousin, Talib Kweli was amongst the guests treated to the album’s host of A-listers, Lil Wayne, Lupe Fiasco, and well, the unlisted, Mya. Bun’s follow-up to 2005’s “Trill” kicked off with the Clinton Sparks produced, “Ill Trill,” while Junior Reid and the multi-talented Sean Kingston defined “gangsta” on “If It Was Up II Me,” and prayers for Bun’s lost brother Pimp C stuck in our minds on “Angel In The Sky.” Check out our exclusive interview with Bun right here. Still trill. “II Trill” is in stores April 29th on Rap-A-Lot Records.
