Ninja Gaiden 2 Goes For Gore

Adapting original Nintendo games on next-gen consoles is a great way to keep the franchise alive. On Tuesday, one of the classics from our days of blowing on cartridges (pause)—Ninja Gaiden 2—drops on Xbox 360.
In a sequel to the O.G. Xbox version, your character Ryu Hayabusa continues down the path of vengeance for his clan while trying to save the world. The plots and gameplay are very straightforward, making it fun to hack up deadly assassins and other-worldly creatures. Now with enhanced melee attacks, auto-healing, and Ryu’s signature teleportation and wall-running moves, the 20+ minute intervals spent defeating bosses aren’t so bad, even for the first-time player.
