The Five Funniest News Anchor Bloopers

Last night, local NBC New York news anchor Sue Simmons said “What the fuck are you doin’?” live on air during a promo for the 11 O’clock News (Thanks to ANIMAL for the heads up). We were shocked, but not that shocked, really—this is only the latest in a long string of embarassing on-air mistakes that prove our news purveyors could use a little extra media training. Whether they’re having tourettes-like outbursts or just straight flubbing their words, it’s fun to watch professionals screw up.
