Video Games The Force Is Strong With Soul Calibur IV

Namco already announced that the new cast of characters in Soul Calibur IV will include some old-school swordsmen like Darth Vader and Yoda. But now you can get see them in action in their debut trailers.

It looks like the developers went with the updated half-ancient alien, half-cricket version of Yoda that can bust out a triple gainer flat-footed. And Vader appears a little more nimble than the old days when James Earl Jones was the voice behind the mask. Unfortunately, Namco staged a little Star Wars segregation. Vader will be a PS3 exclusive while only Xbox 360 gamers get to play as Yoda. Click the jump to watch the vids and make your pick. The game hits shelves this July.
