After a fairly quiet summer, Wale jumped back in the spotlight as the house performer at the MTV awards show. A few days later, he was named as the opening act for Jay-Z’s upcoming Blueprint 3 tour. With the recent release of his second official single (“World Tour,” featuring Jazmine Sullivan), it’s already been a great September for the D.C. native.
