How Should Delta Airlines Spend $1 Billion?

deltalead.jpg
Yesterday, it was reported that Delta Airlines has taken out a $1 billion loan in anticipation of of its merger with Northwest Airlines. Delta’s CEO, Ed Bastian, was quoted as saying that the loan is intended to “increase our cash balance as we approach the closing of the merger,” and that the money “was not for any operating need” but rather to ensure “full financial flexibility” to move forward with the Northwest merger.

Bull. Shit. Delta needs a billion dollars because they’re fucking up. They charge too much for nothing and their customer service is going down the drain. There’s a Billi in the bank, so we’ve got a few ideas about how they could put it to good use…

Stack Paper In The Cash Money Clip

paper-clip-money.jpg
In today’s fitted jeans era, bulky pockets are not a good look. So if you’re still rocking with your George Costanza wallet, it might be time to switch to something slimmer like the The Cash Money Clip.

Designer Scott Amron created the clever clip by affixing a magnet and two steel plates to a bill, giving you the ability to securely stash your money inside. It’s available in $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100 denominations, and there’s also a Euro version. And for you limited edition dorks, Amron points out that no two clips are the same: “Each bill has its own unique United States serial number.” See a video demonstration how the clip functions below.

America Still Loves Bank Robberies

bankrobberies_main.jpgWith the recession in full swing, everybody wants some easy money. According to USA Today, bank robberies are up in major cities across the country and some authorities are citing the economic climate as a possible explanation.

But before you decide to strap up and hit your local Chase, know that the average bank robbery nets just $10,000 and can involve some pretty dire consequences (like death, for example). After the jump, get familiar with a few of the hazards by watching some of youtube’s most infamous bank robberies.

Paper Touchin’ With The Euro Wallet

eurowallet_main.jpg
Newsflash: the American dollar is worthless. At the rate things are going, we’re going to be wiping our asses with Benjamins in six months. Meanwhile, with the European Union’s currency adding up to over 50% more than America’s, stacking Euros is the new way to ball. Shoot, even Jay-Z was showing off a stack of Euros in the “Blue Magic” video.

So unless you wanna look like a poor American, we suggest you pick up this Martin Margiela Euro Wallet. Inside is a nice leather billfold where you can keep those pesky greenbacks hidden, while the outside is masked by a faux-5 Euro note with a band tied around it. Unfortunately, you’ve gotta spend about $387 (American) at Oki-Ni to get one. Check out other images after the jump.
