Rides Great Moments In Minivan History

In November of 1983, Chrysler released what would become one of the most iconic vehicles in the world: the Dodge Caravan. Though some argue that they didn’t invent the minivan, there’s no doubt that the Caravan was the genesis of the market that blew up over the next 25 years. Chances are, any minivan you’ve driven or been driven in owes a thing or three to Dodge. Volkswagen is even releasing their first minivan for the American market based off the Dodge Caravan platform.
It’s no surprise then that minivans have seeped into the American pop-culture more than once. To commemorate this landmark, we put together our five of our favorite moments in minivan history…
