Even if Michelangelo was your favorite Ninja Turtle, you probably never thought that nunchucks would be used for anything other than ass-whoopin’. But after Nintendo introduced the Wii'which uses a controller attachment called the nunchuck'this ancient Chinese weapon has made a big comeback, being used for everything from boxing to Zelda.

Recently, a Japanese nunchaku master took things one step further by showing some real-world applications of his beloved fighting sticks. Down at his local batting cage, he took a crack at knocking baseballs out of the park, substituting his nunchucks for a bat. To celebrate his success, he also used the weapon to pop open a bottle of champagne. Watch the whole thing below…

A promo reel for the sequel to this mind-blowing Thai martial arts movie just hit the net, and it definitely kicks ass.

If you’re a long time fan of martial arts movies, then you probably feel like you’ve seen it all. After all the classics, it’s no surprise that the genre can get a little formulaic sometimes. But when Thai stunt man Tony Jaa broke out in 2003’s Ong-Bank: Muay Thai Warrior, it was clear that this was different. In an era when impossible moves are faked with wires and CGI, Jaa wowed audiences with his 100% real acrobatics and intense combat skills.

Now the phenom is back in Ong Bak 2, his directorial debut. A promo reel for the movie just leaked to the internet, and it shows an emphasis on some new weapons as well as a stunning fight scene on top of a pack of elephants. Looks like it might live up to the reputation of the original when it hits theaters some time later this year. Watch the promo reel below.

The classic game from the NES days comes to Xbox 360 next week with more blood and gore than the original.

Adapting original Nintendo games on next-gen consoles is a great way to keep the franchise alive. On Tuesday, one of the classics from our days of blowing on cartridges (pause)'Ninja Gaiden 2'drops on Xbox 360.

In a sequel to the O.G. Xbox version, your character Ryu Hayabusa continues down the path of vengeance for his clan while trying to save the world. The plots and gameplay are very straightforward, making it fun to hack up deadly assassins and other-worldly creatures. Now with enhanced melee attacks, auto-healing, and Ryu’s signature teleportation and wall-running moves, the 20+ minute intervals spent defeating bosses aren’t so bad, even for the first-time player. Watch a few videos below.
