The Europeans might have come up with the whole “wine and cheese” concept, but in America, we have a combo that owns all others: “comic book adaptations and hot women.” Since we here at Complex like to think of ourselves as connoisseurs of that very delicate pairing, we knew we’d be excited for Kate Beckinsale’s newest movie, Whiteout, which hits theaters today.

Based on an awesome comic of the same name, the movie is directed by Dominic Sena, the man who brought us Gone in 60 Seconds and ~~Halle Berry’s twos~~ Swordfish. Seeing Kate kick ass in the trailer reminded us just how hot this classy lady is, and we knew it was time to immortalize her in the only archive that really matters. It’s the start of the weekend, so sit back and take a good, long look.
