Artist makes a living from selling skateboards and limited edition art decks.

New Orleans native Jeffrey St. Romain might have been displaced by Hurricane Katrina four years ago, but he eventually drifted back home and started a company with his wife called Structure Skateboards “in an attempt to bring cool graphics and a little positivity to the world of skateboarding.” We assume he meant in New Orleans, since the skate scene there is virtually non-existent. And now, the artist is proud to launch an offshoot called NOLA, to sell limited edition and numbered prints on decks as “wall art.” Only 1000 of each design will be made available featuring colorfully adorned New Orleans styled art and themes.
$100, www.structurenola.com
