While the world mourned Michael Jackson’s passing, the sadness intensified when his sister, Janet, made a heartfelt speech at last Sunday’s BET Awards: “To you, Michael is an icon. To us, Michael is family,” she said. “And he will forever live in all of our hearts.”

The only member of the Jackson family who isn’t bat-shit crazy turns 43 this Saturday, and we’ve decided to throw her a party two days early. See, J.J. was the frequent subject of our adolescent fantasies, and she’s held up shockingly well for over two decades. Even if she does carry Jermaine “the pint-sized producer” Dupri in her pocket these days, Janet will always be our girl.

Celebrity Lingerie Lines We’d Like To Take Off

It’s hard to believe it was over twenty years ago that Janet Jackson threw on black jeans and a t-shirt for her classic “Pleasure Principle” video. Yesterday, the pop-starlet announced that she has teamed up with Bruno Schiavi (the man behind Dr. 90210’s intimate apparel) to create a lingerie collection named after her 1986 smash.

The announcement means that the titty-slipping queen will be joining the slew of other fly celebrity chicks who have tried to capitalize on their sex appeal by dropping “intimates.”

Well, Jermaine Dupri, you life-sized California Raisin, you had to go and ruin it for all of us. Just when we were getting used to the fact that you've been consistently slaying Janet Jackson for the better portion of the last decade, today you've made it clear in a People.com article that you two are finally ready for a baby.

Don't get us wrong, it was bound to happen, but we're just not ready to say goodbye to the Janet we remember from the “Love Will Never Do Without You” and “Anytime, Anyplace” vids. Childbirth takes its toll on a hottie's body'just ask B.Spears. Juicy-J, with your tight ass and perky twos headed toward sag town, we wanted to take a minute to remember when you were at your best.
