Inglourious Basterds, his new “spaghetti western” disguised as a World War II movie, follows a group of pissed-off Jewish American soldiers on a bloody hunt for Nazis. You might feel uncomfortable and ugly watching somebody else get scalped, but Hitler’s boys in blue eyes? Fuck ‘em. Pass the popcorn.

Movies Is Tarantino Taking Brad Pitt & Leonardo DiCaprio To War?

With their big bank accounts, bad bitches, and good looks, there’s no doubt that Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio are bastards…but are they inglorious? Well, director Quentin Tarantino wants to cast the two stars in his reworking of Enzo Castellari’s 1978 WWII film The Inglorious Bastards.

Neither actor has worked directly with Tarantino before, although Pitt played a stoner in Ridley Scott’s True Romance and spoke dialogue Q had written. On Tuesday, Tarantino met Pitt in France to talk about the key role of Aldo Raine. On Thursday he’s meeting with DiCaprio, who he sees playing villain Hans Landa.
