To hype the premiere of HBO’s new show How to Make it in America, which airs every Sunday at 10 PM, HBO partnered with ALIFE on some dope 5-Panel hats that were inspired by the show. ALIFE founders Rob Cristofaro and Arnaud Dellecolle worked with legendary NY graffiti artist Lee Quinones (who’s also a guest star in the show) on a limited-run of 300 hats. If you’re looking to score one for cheap, we’re giving 100 away through an e-sweepstakes…

TV Mantras: “How To Make It In America” Star Bryan Greenberg Explains How He Made It

Photography by Kai Regan. Jacket By Diesel; Shirt By Ransom; Jeans By Insight.

Bryan Greenberg, star of HBO’s How to Make It in America, will be making it big soon if the “east coast Entourage” takes off like we expect it to (it premieres this Sunday at 10 p.m. e.t.). Greenberg, 31, plays Ben Epstein, an NYC hustler trying to make it in the cutthroat fashion industry with help from his boys (played by Victor Rasuk and Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi). You might recognize B-Gizzle, who grew up in St. Louis, from HBO’s Unscripted, films like The Perfect Score and Nobel Son, or his album Waiting for Now (or, if you’re a teenage girl, One Tree Hill), but How To… has him poised to blow the fuck up. Before he becomes too big for this earth, Complex caught up with the actor/singer-songwriter to get his “Mantras,” a.k.a. the rules he lives by. Keep reading for his stance on filming sex scenes, having sex with married fans, and more things that don’t necessarily relate to sex…

Wake N' Watch Wake N’ Watch: Jay-Z’s ‘Real Time With Bill Maher’ Interview

With Blueprint 3 hitting stores in less than two weeks, it’s time to get used to seeing Jay-Z everywhere. One of this weekend’s promotional stops included a sit-down on HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher, a program that doesn’t play host to rappers very often. But of course, Hov isn’t your average emcee and Maher further proves that he isn’t some out-of-touch white guy, instead coming across as someone familiar with Jay’s work prior to this interview assignment. Watch the video above to hear Mr. Carter speak about his writing process and his rank in rap music, amongst other topics. Then check part two after the jump to see Mr. Maher asking for clarification on some of his favorite Jay lyrics.

TV Hollywood’s Most Entertaining Male Gigolos

hung-promo-poster
What could be better than spreading your seed around town? Spreading your seed around town and getting paid for it, son! And what’s even better than that? Well, according to critics, HBO’s new series Hung is. The dark comedy, which premieres this weekend, is about a well-endowed, down-on-his-luck high school basketball coach (Thomas Jane) who becomes a male escort to make ends meet. And meet ends he does!

HBO is hardly the first to tap into the gigolo genre. Something about the concept of a male prostitute is oddly tantalizing for creative types, and the idea has found its way into movies, television shows, and music over the years. In honor of the market for meat, we give you our list of the most entertaining gigolos. Trust us, it pays (to read on)…
