Every month it seems new colorways of Vans’ most recognizable silo drop, and for August, expect to see retailers stocking this tri-tone red makeup. That’s three different reds on those uppers, for all of you who are giving a big F you to the whole “toning it down for fall” thing. The sneakers are now available at Vans stores around the country, for $70 a pop.

Whether you like it or not, brightly colored kicks are slowly creeping back into the “cool” category. Don’t get us wrong, we’re still all about neutral sneakers, but as the weather warms up, expect to see more flashy footwear than usual. Scanned pictures of these Vans Half Cab LX’s leaked online a couple months ago, but the sneakers are now just starting to hit stores. Vans x Usugrow Half Cab Pro

For spring, Vans tapped Tokyo-based artist Usugrow for a 3-pack of sneakers that include a Sk8-Hi, AV Sk8-Low and the Half Cab that’s pictured above. Usugrow incorporated his signature black/white color scheme and then punched the designs up with some detailing on the heel, insole, and collar of the shoes.

Besides the sneakers, there were be two t-shirts that feature Usugrow’s floral skull and calligraphy designs that will drop separately. Check out Vans skate retailers this month to get right.

Just when you thought Half Cabs couldn't get any better, Vans decides to hook them up in a Tiffany Dunk-esque color scheme. Skaters mess with the suede make-ups, but these croc joints are for the rest of us. Look for them at regular Vans retailers this month.
