When Omarion’s new video dropped the other day, people hardly seemed to care that it was the song was more than a little reminiscent of Mario’s “Break Up”—nope, they were too busy trying to figure out what was really happening with the back of dude’s head. And it’s official: there’s an eyesore where his hair used to be (it’s so cold, it’s so cold, it’s so cold…). Shag action + LA logo = brand-new candidate for worst R&B haircut of the year!
The thing is, O’s bad idea isn’t even a lock for the award. Nope, R&B dudes have spent the past couple of years steadily one-upping each other with horrible domes (ayo2K!). Don’t believe us? Read on…then print it out, take it to the barber shop, and let ’em know: “ANYTHING but this.”

You know when your chick does something a little different with her appearance—like shaving her upper lip or corns—and you’re like, “Whoa! You’re a new person!” We don’t really fuck with your girl like that, mostly ’cause of the mustache and corns, but we know that when our chick switches it up, it adds a little spice to the relationship.
And by our chick, you know we mean Kim Kardashian. You already knlow we’ve been on the Kim tip for years (if only she were on ours), so when she went blonde a few weeks ago, it let us see one of our favorite ladies in a new light. Well, now it seems that Kimmy’s back to her natural-ish color (we’d still want to inspect the carpet to be sure), but it was fun while it lasted. Check out our timeline of Kim’s Best Blonde Moments…

20 years ago Big Daddy Kane, Kid n’ Play, and Kwame made the flat top style cutting edge. But today’s post-Yo! MTV Raps generation has carbon-copied the trend of yesteryear with hopes of bringing it back. If you live outside of NYC, this trend might just be hitting your town, but for the last few years, fashionista folks like The Retro Kids (pictured above) have been inspiring our city’s youth to rock the throwback style.
Think flattops still have a place in fashion today? Hump or Dump it after the jump.

Pocket culture magazine Frank151 recently opened up a barbershop in NYC’s Lower East Side. The appropriately named ‘Chop Shop’ houses three 1930’s style chairs and has barbers with straight edge razors ready to slice you while you sit back and enjoy the vintage era decor. One of the bonuses of this barber shop is the full range of custom New Era caps just in case you couldn’t sit still in the chair or just rethought that Ceasar cut. After the jump check out the front of the Chop Shop and glance at the full Frank menu including a man on man neck massage for $5. Chop-chop.
Frank’s Chop Shop, 19 Essex Street, Tuesday-Sunday 12:00pm-10:00pm
Update: Sir Frank chimes in to let us know the neck massage is from a female, but male on male can be arranged per special request.
