Rides In the Studio

Connoisseurs of sound can go quite far'literally'in the Infiniti G Sedan, a.k.a. the sound stage on wheels. Last night at NYC's Avatar studios, we got a firsthand listen to the Bose-equipped whip, which offers a high-end sound system inside Infiniti's luxurious mobile digs. After Infiniti treated us to a live jazz performance (and an almost infinite spread of sushi and sake), we got a private soundcheck of the G ride. We hoped to hear some bass-heavy gangsta shit, but settled for a recorded version of the live concert we just heard. The sound? Impeccable. The 2007 G Sedan hasn't hit the market just yet, but it should figure in the $30K range. Get your paper up.

Before we stepped into the Infiniti G Sedan, the band provided a more civilized soundtrack to the evening.

We popped in a cd of some of their pre-recorded tunes, and the quality sound system gave our ears deja vu.
