adidas is doubling up on the celebrations this May, with the launch of this Cinco De Mayo Forum Lo. Not only a homage to the Mexican holiday that American’s love to get twisted on, this festive makeup will also be one of the last 25th anniversary celebratory Forum’s to drop. If you can’t wait to get your mariachi on, try two-stepping this Saturday at Moe’s Sneaker Spot at the Coliseum mall in Queens, where the store’s exclusive Black/Red Forum Mid will launch. Besides the sneaker release there will be a kickoff party that’s hosted By Hot 97’s DJ Jazzy Joyce, and will feature DJ Don Handz on the ones and twos. The jammy-jam goes from 2-5 p.m. Mid-day flossing? We’re going to need a +1.

Adidas 25th Anniversary Forum Lo Collection

Adidas will continue their 25-anniversary celebration of the Forum by collaborating with a new wave of stores who will shelve a limited run of sneakers this April. Self Conscious in Chicago, Shoe Gallery in Miami (pictured above), and Expressions in Boston will offer styles that set out to capture the character and diversity of each retail spot. adidas wanted to pick fairly new boutiques to team up in order to “look to the future” of the iconic Forum Lo.
