It may still be a guilty pleasure for a lot of you, but over here at Complex, we feel no shame in watching reality TV. Sure, most of them have turned into loosely (and, yeah, sometimes poorly) scripted hybrids of game shows and sitcoms, showcasing fame whores willing to do anything and everything for the limelight, but isn’t that what makes them awesome? Where else could you see a girl try to win the heart of a guy by making her self into a human banana split, or see a bunch wannabe supermodels get cutthroat while wearing bikini’s? Not on Gossip Girl. So it’s to those fine females, we dedicate this list.
Now, with all the reality TV shows that have come and gone, it was hard to pare this list down to just 50. To make it a little easier we took out the girls who found fame before hitting the reality circuit (sorry, Padma), and we tried to make it as diverse as possible. You thought that police woman on TLC was cute? We did, too! There’s bound to be some girls that didn’t make our list, but we’re sure you’ll dig the stable we put together…

In the world of reality TV, ratings trumps all—even love. So it’s easy to understand why we weren’t at all surprised when Ray J and the winner of season 1 of For the Love of Ray J Cocktail (Joanna Hernandez) broke it off amidst rumors that Ray was stepping out with Tila Tequila. Come on, there was no way Vh1 was not going to follow up one of their highest rated shows (over 2.5 million viewers ) with a second season.
And wouldn’t you know it, we were right! Earlier this month, Vh1 kicked off season two of For the Love of Ray J, with Brandy’s brother once again looking for true love among 19 new contestants. If you’ve been following the first two episodes of the season, you have an idea of what Ray thinks of his new stable of women, but we wanted to go a little bit further. We got him to open up about what he thinks of each and every girl. He also hipped us to what he’s now looking for in a women, why a girl can’t just be crazy attractive and just what is going on with his music career…

Remember when Ray-J was just Brandy’s runt little brother? Well, after making his epic directorial debut (Kim Kardashian Superstar), collaborating with a pop legend (Whitney Houston’s vagina) and scoring his first actual hit song (”Sexy Can I”), it seems like Ray-J might finally be the more famous of the two Norwood siblings.
So famous that he now has the requisite VH1 reality show.
