The sixth season of Entourage kicks off July 12 and word is already spreading about the upcoming celebrity appearances. Cameos from LeBron James, Zac Efron, and Tom Brady are all lined up, but we immediately started getting hyped when we heard Lil Wayne will appear in an episode.
As fans of Entourage, we’re definitely looking forward to seeing Weezy’s role, but our gut tells us that it might be somewhat underwhelming, if only because we’ve already seen so many rappers on the show. It’d probably be a lot more interesting if Wayne guest-starred on some other currently popular programs. Which is why we played casting director and imagined him in some more exciting roles. Oscar-nominated actor Mark Wahlberg has come a long way since his days running the streets of Boston. He's managed to not only stay out of trouble with the law, but make most people forget all about his saggy-pant rapping career with the Funky Bunch. After a series of commercial and critically-acclaimed films like Boogie Nights, The Departed, and The Italian Job, Wahlberg has established himself as one of Hollywood's most bankable stars under the age of 40.
The fact that he's stepping into the role of video game character Max Payne in the new film adaptation from 20th Century Fox says a lot about the game's character and story line. Max Payne was released for PC and PlayStation 2 back in 2001, which speaks volumes about how ahead of its time the shooter was. Sure, he may catch feelings about an SNL skit, but his sensitivity doesn’t negate the fact that Wahlberg can step into any role he wants today. The actor took some time to talk to us about his first videogame role, the future of Entourage and Ludacris’ performance in the new movie…

If you're as into Entourage as much as we are, you've seen the kick-ass episode of Chase and the gang living it up in Vegas, where they end up, well, literally kicking ass. Since its airing, light has been increasingly shone on new Geffen artist Jibbs, whose catchy “Chain Hang Low” bumped during the tantalizing stripper scene. Last night, Complex showed face in the heart of Times Square for the rapper's listening party to see what all the buzz was about. Regrets? None at all. With songs on his debut album Jibbs Feat. Jibbs (set to drop October 24) featuring Lil' Wayne, Yung Joc, and Chamillionaire, Jibbs is on his way to becoming the iced-out Midwest rap artist Baby could only hope to mentor.
Jibbs lets it all hang out…his chain that is.
