Drake-mania continued this week with the release of the Hype Williams-directed visual for “Forever,” the first single off of the soundtrack for the LeBron James documentary, More Than a Game. When we first heard Drizzy was going to shoot a video for the heavyweight-rap track, we couldn’t wait to see just what kind of crazy, game-changing shit him, Kanye, Weezy, and Eminem were going to pull. Unfortunately all we got was a bunch of flashing lights, a few cameos, and a tribute to Bron Bron…We might have judged a little early.
Whatever your verdict on the video is, the fact remains that these four artists are some of the most exciting dudes in music, with their own distinctive styles to match—Kanye with his high-fashion steez, Wayne at the height of his rockstar phase, Eminem with the “I’m going on a jog” look, and Drake with his “I like high-priced designers” look. If you’re looking to swag-jack any rappers, these might be the four to start with. Below, we break down and recreate each rapper’s look. Stick with us—as long as you keep reading, we’ll keep you stylish forever.
It’s hard to believe sometimes, but Drake is still technically a new artist. The kid has accomplished a lot in the past several months, but getting Kanye, Wayne, and Eminem to contribute verses to his lost mixtape cut “Forever”and clear their schedules to star in the music video, directed by Hype Williams no less, might be his most impressive task to date. Of course, the LeBron James factor (the song is on the soundtrack for his upcoming documentary) was probably helpful in getting all parties involved too. Just like Drizzy’s first big video, this one is already host to a bevy of mixed opinions, but that’s to be expected. No matter how you feel about the video, it’s a major look regardless.

Ever since James Dean rocked one in Rebel Without a Cause, the black leather jacket has been the de rigueur clothing item for those that consider themselves bad boys. Since then we’ve seen the jacket ebb and flow out of style with celebrities, and recently it seems to be poppin’ once again.
Just this past week we saw Eminem wearing one with his unique Detroit gutter steez, Chris Brown rocking one while trying to stay incognito (although, “bad boy” is the last image that dude should be trying to portray) and John Mayer channeling his inner rockstar at Jay-Z’s September 11th concert at Madison Square Garden. You already know the deal, all three guys rocked it in their own way, but who wore it better? Vote below…
Yesterday, an impostor posing as Eminem released a diss track targeting Soulja Boy. Given Slim Shady’s recent disputes with Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, this diss didn’t seem like that much of a stretch and we might have even believed that it was real for a good five seconds. But of course, it wasn’t.
No worries though. This isn’t the first time a wannabe-emcee has pulled the cloak over an unsuspecting public’s eyes. We thought stans were bad enough, but we actually managed to dig up dirt on five guys who wanted to be their favorite rapper. Literally. Over the course of her career, Mariah Carey has been romantically linked to multiple celebrity men. She’s been ambiguous about some relationships and completely open about others, but has always vehemently denied any relationship with Eminem. Um, Marshall Mathers disagrees and for the better part of this decade, he’s been trying to get her to acknowledge their relationship.
The tension came to a head this week when he released the scathing diss record, “The Warning.” While it’s the most brutal moment of their conflicts, it’s certainly not the first. Keep reading to check out every detail of the long and complicated History Of Eminem And Mariah Carey’s Relationship…
After years of tension and subliminal jabs, conflict-obsessed rapper The Game got his wish when Jay-Z finally dropped his name while performing the Blueprint 3 intro. Never one to shy away from beef, rap fans knew it was only a matter of time before the Compton rapper responded, and sure enough early Saturday afternoon Game dropped a full-fledged diss song against Hov called “I’m So Wavy.”
It wasn’t a TKO in any sense, but don’t think Jayceon’s going to throw in the towel anytime soon. Dude has racked up more beef in the five years he’s been in the hip-hop game than, well, probably anyone. Don’t believe us? We’ve compiled all 25 of Game’s disputes into one comprehensive blog post, staggering evidence that the dude doesn’t play nice with others. Take a look back below…
