Trying to throw down a 50-50 grind in tight-fitting denim can get annoying. Jeans can be restrictive and they tend to rip, so try wearing the Non-Denim Pants by Jerry Hsu for Emerica the next time you skate. These slim-fit twill pants have just a bit of stretch so you can ride properly and comfortably. Oh, and if you’re not a skater, no worries, they’re still a good look. Check below for another pic and Buy It Now info…

Opened by brothers Simon and Elias Bingham in 2007, No Comply has established itself as the go-to skate shop in downtown Austin. This family owned shop offers hard goods, shoes and apparel. In addition to its solid inventory, NC is also environmentally conscious, and makes an effort to recycle used skate products collected throughout their community and sell them in their shop.
The store stocks top-notch brands such as Adidas Campus Vulc, Adidas Skateboarding, Alien Workshop, Altamont, Anti-Hero, Benny Gold, Brixton, Chocolate, Diamond, Emerica, Girl, Habitat, Krooked, Lakai Manchesters, Matix, Nike Dunks, Nike SB, Roger, and RVCA. Oh, and the best part? The shopping experience is pleasant, thanks to the brothers doing without the whole I-own-a-skate-shop-and-can-act-like-an-a-hole-to-everyone mindset. Even skaters have to clean up sometimes, which is why Emerica pumped out this skate sneaker-meets-dress shoe for Kevin “Spanky” Long. Perfect for going from the ramp to the restaurant, the sneaker falls in line with Long's split personality, which includes high-brow activities like drinking wine at bars, and downright sleaziness like pimping chicks. As his biography reads, Long's no stranger to hoe-business:
A former pimp, playa, hustler and con-man extraordinaire, Kevin’s nickname, Spanky, comes from the heavy-handed pimpin’ lessons he served up while breaking in hoes down on the track in the dirty ghettos of his hometown in Westlake Village, California.
We think we found our new role model.

Being a professional skateboarder has its fair share of perks. Money, women and a signature sneaker are just a few of the benefits that 23-year-old Kevin “Spanky” Long gets to reap. But with the release of his new Emerica shoe, The Spanky, he’s putting all the glamor aside to promote it through a grueling 24-hour commercial.
Called Kevin All Day And Night Long, the clip follows young Kev on a skate marathon with artist Donny Miller (pictured above on the left), covering over 24 miles in California and documenting the adventures they encounter along the way. It will be aired online on June 24 at 6 AM (PST), so catch up on your sleep now. Watch a quick trailer below.

The action at the GvR competition heated up yesterday with the men's qualifying heat. Over one hundred goofy and regular foot skaters battled it out for their spot in the finals. Greg Lutzka and Tony Cervantes took first place for Team Goofy and Team Regular, respectively. Meanwhile, outside the skate park, kids gathered around the Emerica booth to meet Snoop Dogg's homie and legendary street hustler, Archbishop Don “Magic” Juan. Skateboarding has a new icon, for style that is. His latest trick? A new Emerica sneaker, “The Bishop,” is set to drop in April 2007. Abra ca dabra.

Pete Ramondetta came up big for Team Regular with this nose manual.

Who is Pierre Andre, etnies’ owner and founder really rooting for?

The Bishop is the realest sneaker pimp alive. Chuuuch!

Damn, where have I seen this cup before. Oh, Lil Jon. Yeahhh!
