Technology Japanese Airbag Jacket Will Break Your Fall

Crying out “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” is pretty pointless if no one’s around to hear it. But now clumsy old folks (and drunk young people) have a little extra protection when they take the inevitable spill'at this year’s International Home Care and Rehabilitation Exhibition, Tokyo-based company Prop unveiled a jacket equipped with multiple airbags.
When the user begins a backwards descent, the $1,400 strap-on product will inflate a bag behind the head and hips in an impressive 0.1 seconds, cushioning the fall. But be warned: if you collapse face-first, you’re fucked. Watch a demo video of he jacket in action below…
