Looking for a solid skate shoe this summer? Done. For our June/July issue (on newsstands now) we asked Jahmal Williams of HOPPSSKATEBOARDS to put a batch of this season’s skate shoes to the test, and included in the set were these DVS Huf Mid Throwbacks. How’d they do? We’ll leave it up to the expert:
“These are great lighweight shoes with good board feel. The construction is good and the silo is clean. The color is a little crazy, but I like the sneaker.”
The shoes should hit DVS locations sometime this month, if you’re in a metallic silver x superior board feel kind of mood. Picture of the sole when you kick-flip the jump.

Our bad for the not-so-detailed photo of these Huf 5 Runner's, but that's what happens when you rip straight from the website. The latest color of Keith Hufnagel's Sunday workout sneaker somehow slipped through the cracks of the sneaker blogs and just became available online. This time around, DVS tweaked the shape of the sneaker and improved padding, so you'll be good when you're racking up miles on the road.

It was only a matter of time before the Huf 5 Runner got Da Bulls treatment. Keith's trainer off the DVS line will drop this fall in this Black/Red/Gray colorway, a solid follow-up to last summer's neon green make-up. Check for these to hit skate accounts around the U.S, this month. Get light.
UPDATE: We just got word that this sneaker came about from a collaboration between DVS and NYC streetwear brand Mighty Healthy. Stay tuned for more information about other pieces included in the project…

Huf runs the streets, literally. This new Huf 5 Runner off of DVS' premium Original Intent line takes Keith's signature running shoe and improves the padding and fit for training sessions this spring. Look out for this black/white/lime colorup as well as a black and purple colorway to drop in a few weeks.

When he's not stunting in Louis Vuitton sneakers (don't believe us, check the back issue from ESPN Mag) and his gaudy-gold chain, DVS rider Jereme Rogers shreds heavy in his signature shoe. The tatted-up lad originally from Beantown, has proven to be a thorn in other professional skateboarders side come competition time. His reward? Four unique colorups of his Rogers shoe off the DVS line. Grab them now at your local DVS retailer.
