Shot by award-winning former National Geographic photographer Louie Psihoyos, The Cove is a guerrilla-style documentary that captures the mass killing of dolphins each year at Taiji, Wakayama in Japan. The movie is being heralded by critics (it won the Audience Award at Sundance this year) for its combination of stunning visuals and disturbing secret footage—the director has described it as a mix of Jacques Cousteau and James Bond.

You may recall back in 2007, when Heroes star Hayden Panettiere had to flee Japan after an activist group she was surfing with tried to free a group of dolphins at Taiji from the nets of fishermen. The resulting confrontation is also captured in The Cove, which hits select theaters this weekend. Just don’t expect it to play in Japan…for some reason they think Americans complaining about killing a few thousand dolphins is a tad hypocritical, considering the fact that our factory farms slaughter billions of animals each year. But hey, that’s beside the point. Go dolphins!

Read our review, answer a few quick trivia questions and we'll ship you a copy of this documentary about the Godmother of Colombia.

*baking soda not included

While in her late 40s, Colombian cocaine queen Griselda Blanco liked to tell her friends, “I’m the baddest bitch to ever take a breath of life.” If you need proof, watch Cocaine Cowboys 2: Hustlin’ With The Godmother, a spin-off of the 2006 documentary that drops today. While the original examined Miami drug trafficking in the late '70s and early '80s, the sequel focuses in on the post-Miami operation of Blanco (aka The Godmother), detailing how she fell in love with Oakland man Charles Cosby and recruited him to run her national cocaine distribution network while behind bars in the early '90s.

Told primarily through interviews with Cosby, along with archival footage and animated reenactments, CC2 is easily as riveting as the original. But while the first documentary offered broad social commentary about the effects of drug money on Miami, the sequel is much more of a focused character study about how these strange bedfellows developed a symbiotic relationship. If that doesn’t make you want to watch…did we mention that there’s a segment where they give instructions on how to cook crack? Either way, there’s something for the whole family. Watch the trailer here or learn how to win a copy of the DVD below.

To win a copy of the Cocaine Cowboys 2: Hustlin’ With The Godmother, answer the following three questions correctly:

1. Griselda Blanco is originally from Medellín, Columbia. What other infamous drug trafficker called this city home?

2. Cocaine Cowboys 2 takes place primarily in Oakland, CA. Name three rappers from Oakland who have gone platinum.

3. Griselda Blanco named her son Michael Corleone, after Al Pacino’s character in The Godfather. In the first movie, what island does Michael flee to after killing the men who shot his father?

Email your responses to contest@complex.com. If you’re one of the first two people to answer correctly, we will send you a copy of Cocaine Cowboys 2.

The Clash (l to r): Topper Headon, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon, Joe Strummer

Before MTV and Clear Channel radio made punk rock about as dangerous as a box of kittens, there was The Clash, a group so raw and in your face (pause X 2) that their own label refused to release their first record because it wasn’t “radio friendly.” Last Friday marked the 32nd anniversary of their first show, and today comes the DVD release of an award-winning documentary on their lead singer Joe Strummer called The Future Is Unwritten.

Narrated through interviews with Strummer’s pals like Johnny Depp, Courtney Love and Melle Mel, Unwritten follows the self-proclaimed “punk rock warlord” from his childhood to his untimely death in 2002, and includes his theory (sure to have the Surgeon General going nuts) that people who don’t smoke shouldn’t be allowed to enjoy art made by cigarette smokers.
Highlights from a new documentary in theatres that inspired cult classic Scarface.

Rapper 'PitBull' walks you through some of the highlights in the clip above from a new documentary hitting theatres that looks like kilos of fun to watch. It’s called ‘Cocaine Cowboys’ and offers a snap shot of some of the real kingpins and ballers that made a living shoveling tons of Ya-Yo down in Miami during the heyday in the 1980's. It's basically what inspired cult classic ‘Scarface.’ Don't get us wrong, we don't encourage massive international drug dealing cartels here at Complex, but there is something intriguing about having mountain lions as pets and burying money in garbage bags in your backyard cause drug profits are piling up too high. Check the official website for local listings and hope it’s coming to you a theatre near you.

One of the greatest skateboarders of all time tells all in his new film.

Great things come in twos; we're talking in sports here. Jordan and Pippen, Aikmen and Smith, Canseco and McGuire, Hosoi and Hawk ' skateboarding's dynamic duo. Last night at New York's Knitting Factory, Christian Hosoi, the rock star anti-thesis to Tony Hawk's nerdy fundamentals, and arguably the greatest skateboarder of all time, previewed his new documentary Rising Son: The Legend of Skateboarder Christian Hosoi for a packed house of fans and legends (Steve Caballero). Soon to be released this November, the DVD oddly produced by rap documentarian QD3 and Quiksilver, chronicles the life of Hosoi, narrated by Dennis “Pop Question” Hopper. The film's twists and curveballs were nothing compared to Hosoi's historical flamboyance, like rocking pink pants and hair extensions'and you thought skinny-jeans were funny-style. Tony Hawk, Tony Alva, Danny Way, and Jason Lee all hailed the king of skate, just like the audience when he took the stage at the end of the film to briefly speak about his rocky life of fame, prison, and finding God.

After a whirlwind of a career, Hosoi is living well skating for Quiksilver, taking care of his family and as a church pastor.

It's hard to believe a bunch of grown-ass men would get so excited that they'd act like little girls at the sight of a pro surfer, but Kelly Slater apparently has some kind of hold over his fans. Last night at Chelsea Piers on Manhattan's uber-west side, Monsieur Slater showed up and showed off his new Quiksilver-bankrolled surf flick, Letting Go , much to the delight of the guys'and girls'in attendance. Spoiler alert: it's got a happy ending. In it, Slater wins his 7th world title, taking the 2006 ASP Championship.

After the screening, Slater auctioned off a signed board. Actually, he auctioned three. The first two went to suits, and Slater wanted a real surfer to land one, so he kept trying. Fortunately, all the money goes to his environmentally progressive Surfrider Foundation, so the extra cash will help a good cause. And those diehard fans, who booed the suits when they won the auctions? They went home happy too. Deliriously happy. Almost too happy. But whatever.
