Our in-depth style video series Cut & Show has taken you inside the operations of some of our favorite apparel brands, from Public School to Lupe Fiasco’s Trily & Trully line. But for the latest installment, we decided to focus in on one of the world’s most amazing accessory brands, Moscot Eyewear and Eyecare.
This family-run business has some serious history, starting with hand-made glasses on a push-cart in 1915. Since then they’ve grown into one of the smartest eyewear brands in the game, which is why we regularly feature them in the pages of Complex. For our video, the company’s current President, Kenny Moscot, was kind enough to take us on a tour of their operation and break down their rich roots. Watch the latest “Cut & Show” below…

Where has Lupe been? Our August/September 2008 cover star has been keeping a low profile since the success of his sophomore album The Cool, working on a number of below-the-radar projects in music and fashion.
His burgeoning clothing brand Trilly & Truly has been releasing some select pieces overseas in Japan, but we’re finally starting to get access to it thanks to the brand’s new American website. Lupe stopped by the office recently to talk about all things Trilly & Truly. Watch the latest episode of our style video series “Cut & Show” below…

Already sick of end-of-the-year wrap-ups? Get used to them because for the next two weeks they're going to be all over the blogosphere. We just put up our 2008 Complex Style Awards, featuring winners in categories like Sneaker of the Year, Best Sneaker Technology, Best Accessory Brand, Celebrity Trendsetter of the Year (guess who?) and of course, the coveted Brand of the Year.
Which brings us to Public School. Oh-eight was major for Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, the two Sean John veterans who founded Public School. Rather than churn out the usual trendy T-shirts and faux cut-and-sew pieces, PS released forward-thinking outerwear that did numbers in high-fashion retailers like Barney's. If you're not up on Public School, we suggest you get familiar, quick. Check out all the winners of our style awards in our feature HERE, then watch our brand new “Cut & Show” video with Public School below.
