By now you’ve surely become acquainted with the infamous “Asian Hipster Grifter,” Ms. Kari Ferrell. Hmmm, let’s see…a promiscuous Korean chick bedding, then bilking, a bunch of unwitting cool guys? This shit’s hitting just a little too close to home.

So—after we all deleted her contact from our BlackBerries—we decided to take a closer look at this cunningly cunty con artist. On first (and second, and 1,000th) glance, Kari appears to be the absolute definition of a trifey…but then again, could she just be misunderstood? Is she secretly a wifey in disguise? We present our case below, and then you can vote for yourself…
WIFEY: She’s Korean…and adopted.
You know, an Asian chick minus the overbearing Asian family. That means no unidentifiable meats or forced broken-English banter when you meet the ‘rents! Score!

Run that piece! In honor of Yung Berg's recent robbery, Complex rates the greatest shine-stealers in rap history.

Middle-aged white guys buy snazzy sports cars and flaunt them as if they’re chrome, fuel-injected, super-charged effigies of their now flaccid cocks. Rappers, on the other hand, buy gaudy medallions attached to equally gaudy links and rock them as if they’re platinum-and-gold-plated, diamond-encrusted effigies of their now flaccid cocks. So you can imagine how emasculated your favorite rapper feels when another rapper, or local stick-up kid, comes along, takes their shine, and leaks a picture or youtube video. It’s like they’re holding their penises (¡NH!) fully exposed for the world to see! Ay Carumba!

In any case, the latest incident of manhood snatching befell poor widdle Yung Berg while the diddy-bopper cruised the mean streets of Detroit (what he was doing wearing jewelry in the D, we don’t know either). Needless to say, Berg is probably somewhere licking his wounds. But cheer up, lil’ buddy! You just entered a club whose members include hip hop’s elite.

To boost Berg’s gloomy disposition, Complex combed the annals (ayo!) of hip hop history (along with rumors and allegations as well) to compile an authoritative list of the most notorious chain snatchings ever. To be fair to the victims and the vickers, we rated each incident by how emasculating it was to their careers, as well as the probability that the snatching actually happened (since almost none of the incidents can be verified by police reports) . If you don’t read this blog, you’re just robbing yourself.

A book about drugs that co-authored by one of Britain's most famous criminals has become popular in English prisons.

Despite stupid adults’ claims to the contrary, we’ve always known that there’s a lot to be learned from comics'not all mutants are evil, spider bites aren’t always fatal, being the last man on earth isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. But now a book in the U.K. is catching flack for being a little too educational.

This past weekend, British Labour Party Member of Parliament Khalid Mahmood came out against Him & Hers Smuggling Vacation, a book written by Englishman Jason Wilson and his father Anthony Cyril Spencer about a U.K. couple that stumbles upon a bunch of weed while on vacation and tries to smuggle it home. The book is highly detailed in its depiction of the European underworld, with good reason'Spencer was briefly the most wanted man in Britain and helped his son complete Vacation while spending time in a Spanish prison. The book’s become something of a hit in English jails, thus drawing the ire of the aforementioned MP. Rumor has it DMX’s Defensive Driving comic will be rushed into production in an effort to compete. For seven pages from Vacation, check the gallery below.

Read our review, answer a few quick trivia questions and we'll ship you a copy of this documentary about the Godmother of Colombia.

*baking soda not included

While in her late 40s, Colombian cocaine queen Griselda Blanco liked to tell her friends, “I’m the baddest bitch to ever take a breath of life.” If you need proof, watch Cocaine Cowboys 2: Hustlin’ With The Godmother, a spin-off of the 2006 documentary that drops today. While the original examined Miami drug trafficking in the late '70s and early '80s, the sequel focuses in on the post-Miami operation of Blanco (aka The Godmother), detailing how she fell in love with Oakland man Charles Cosby and recruited him to run her national cocaine distribution network while behind bars in the early '90s.

Told primarily through interviews with Cosby, along with archival footage and animated reenactments, CC2 is easily as riveting as the original. But while the first documentary offered broad social commentary about the effects of drug money on Miami, the sequel is much more of a focused character study about how these strange bedfellows developed a symbiotic relationship. If that doesn’t make you want to watch…did we mention that there’s a segment where they give instructions on how to cook crack? Either way, there’s something for the whole family. Watch the trailer here or learn how to win a copy of the DVD below.

To win a copy of the Cocaine Cowboys 2: Hustlin’ With The Godmother, answer the following three questions correctly:

1. Griselda Blanco is originally from Medellín, Columbia. What other infamous drug trafficker called this city home?

2. Cocaine Cowboys 2 takes place primarily in Oakland, CA. Name three rappers from Oakland who have gone platinum.

3. Griselda Blanco named her son Michael Corleone, after Al Pacino’s character in The Godfather. In the first movie, what island does Michael flee to after killing the men who shot his father?

Email your responses to contest@complex.com. If you’re one of the first two people to answer correctly, we will send you a copy of Cocaine Cowboys 2.

The son of North Carolina State hoops coach Sidney Lowe has scored a prison cell, but he's not the first offspring who turned out to be a troublemaker.

Professional coaches are often too busy studying film, strategizing, and playing father to athletes to parent their own damn kids. Sidney Lowe II, son of North Carolina State basketball coach Sidney Lowe, is the latest neglected offspring to score a prison cell.

Lowe II will reportedly plead guilty today to six counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and six counts of kidnapping related to a March 2007 home invasion'apparently he thought the “charity stripe” extended to strangers' homes. He joins the sons of high-profile coaches like Bill Belichick, Barry Alvarez, and Andy Reid to catch a case. To get the 411 on the other coach seeds who fucked up in recent years, check out our rundown after the jump.

New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick's 19-year-old son Stephen was placed on probation for six months in 2006 after he was arrested for marijuana possession. He is, however, not responsible for the Pats' perfect season going up in smoke.

University of Wisconsin coach Barry Alvarez's 23-year-old son Chad got 10 days in jail, five years probation, 250 hours of community service, and psychological counseling in 1999 after pleading no contest to microwaving a fraternity brother’s parrot. Does that make him a repeat offender?

Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid's 24-year-old son Garrett got 23 months in jail in 2007 after he injured a motorist in a collision while high on heroin. He then smuggled 89 prescription pills into the county jail rectally'just in case anyone doubted his drug addiction. That same year, Reid's 22-year-old son Britt was sentenced to 23 months in jail after he pulled a gun on a motorist and later violated his bail terms by driving under the influence with 30 1/2 various painkillers and antidepressants in the car. On the other hand, Reid has three kids who aren't behind bars, so that's technically a winning record.

According to USA Today, bank robberies are up in major cities across the country and some authorities are citing the economic climate as a possible explanation.

But before you decide to strap up and hit your local Chase, know that the average bank robbery nets just $10,000 and can involve some pretty dire consequences (like death, for example). After the jump, get familiar with a few of the hazards by watching some of youtube’s most infamous bank robberies.

Take a look back at the history of players on the Texas team who have run afoul of the law.

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to trade troubled defensive back Adam “Pacman” Jones to the Dallas Cowboys, adding one more shady character to America's Team. Team owner Jerry Jones is hoping that he won't make it rain court documents and only assault opposing players.

Jones, who has been arrested six times since he was drafted in 2005 (and involved in several more incidents where police were called), follows in the footsteps of Tank Johnson, who joined the 'Boys in 2007 after serving time for weapons charges. But they are only the latest Cowboys with criminal histories. After the jump, read about the history of Dallas miscreants who ran afoul of the law, either while a Cowboy or afterwards.

Nate Newton, G
2001: Arrested with 213 pounds of marijuana in his car, and again with 175 pounds only five weeks later. Now that's a weight-training program.

Michael Irvin, WR
1996: Arrested for cocaine possession. He was said to have celebrating his 30th birthday by sniffing blow off a stripper's tit. Even off the field, Irvin wasn't outside the lines.

Thomas “Hollywood” Henderson, LB
1983: Arrested for smoking crack with and sexually assaulting two teenage girls, one of whom was reportedly paraplegic. Maybe it was medicinal crack?

Rafael Septien, K
1987: Plead guilty to a count of “indecency with a child” after being accused of assaulting a 10-year-old girl. Nothing “upright” about this kicker.

Dwayne Goodrich, DB
2003: Arrested and imprisoned for vehicular manslaughter after he struck and killed two men who were attempting to rescue someone from a burning car. This, kids, is why the speed limit is not 110mph.

Larry Bethea, DL
1987: Before he was identified as a suspect in two armed robberies and committed suicide, he was convicted of stealing $64,000'from his mom. Maybe she'd overcharged him rent on her womb?

Harvey Martin, DE
1996: Arrested and charged with beating his girlfriend. In his defense, he'd been using a lot of cocaine.

Robert “Bullet Bob” Hayes, WR
1978: Convicted of drug trafficking after selling to an undercover officer. It's still unclear why the onetime Olympian considered to be the “world's fastest man” didn't run.

Lance Rentzel, WR
1970: Arrested for exposing himself to a 10-year-old girl. At least the pervert didn't score a touchdown.

Barry Switzer, Head Coach
1997: Charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon after he brought a loaded revolver in his carry-on baggage at an airport. There's nothing friendly about the skies he flies.

The SF Chronicle recently created this map to show where Oakland's homicides occur. There's a lot.

Blue represents homicides committed in 2007, Red represents those committed in 2008.

On Tuesday, Oakland recorded its 34th murder (by contrast, New York'a city with nearly 20 times Oakland's population'has had only 99 killings this year). To map the out-of-control murder rate, the San Francisco Chronicle used Google Maps to show the distribution of every homicide from 2007 and 2008. Not surprisingly (least of all for the residents of East and West Oakland), the murders share some geographic characteristics. It seems like as long as you stay above the MacArthur Freeway, you’re going to live a long life.

Watch a video after the jump of Oakland residents reflecting on the historic murder rate and those they’ve lost…

As it turns out, the Game was in fact released from prison last week according to an MTV report.

“Due to the sensitive negotiations on this matter I felt it appropriate not to give an exact date on my release.”

And the winner is…The Game! Despite the six days he spent in jail compared to Paris Hilton’s 23-day sentence, his street cred is unaffected by his short stay, especially given the circumstances of his felony charge for gun possession in a school zone.

It takes the strength of Paris Hilton just to make it through a week and a day in the slammer.

Jayceon Taylor, a.k.a The Game was released today after serving 8 of his 60 days in jail. Paris Hilton, who served 23 on a 45-day sentence was unavailable for comment on her booming street cred.

UPDATE: Seems as though Jayceon is still behind bars, and was only moved to another housing facility causing the confusion, and rumor that he was released. We’ll continue to keep a close eye on the Paris/Game race for street-cred.
