We know it’s every designer and engineer’s wet dream to design for Ferrari, but damn. It seems like every couple months some random engineer or designer pops up with their take on what the Modena based super car company should be building next. And it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. Today we came across yet another independently designed concept, this time in the form of a motorcycle.
The proposed Ferrari superbike was conceived by Israeli designer Amir Glinik, who centered his concept around the idea of chopping the heralded V12 Ferrari Enzo down to four cylinders. The futuristic frame is made out of aluminum to keep weight down with traditional tubing in the front to support the battery and the oil tank. The rider can manage the engine with a system based on the Ferrari engine management computer with a modified all weather touch screen for easy use. The bike is controlled by hand controls influenced by the throttle controls of F16 fighter jets. There’s no chance this will ever come out, but we can add it to the list of concepts Ferrari should invest in. See more photos of Glinik’s concept below.

When we were young’ins we all thought that by the time we got our licenses, our cars would not only drive themselves on super highways, but fly too. Suffice to say none of that Jetsons shit panned out, but designer Iman Maghsoudi still believes that one day our cars will resemble their Sci-Fi brethren. And his Ferrari Monza concept show’s exactly where he thinks future automobiles are heading.
Borrowing styling cues from the Ferrari Enzo, the Monza’s aerodynamic profile is supposed to allow it to travel at speeds of over 200 km/hr. And since high-speedin’ humans are a liability, the Monza’s computer system takes over driving duties once you hit a certain m.p.h. The vehicle will also change shape to become even more aerodynamic and to create a little lift to reduce friction. It’ll be a good minute before we see any flying autos, but if this is where car design is headed, we’re not mad at all. Check out more photo’s of the blueprint below.

Consumers love revivals. Nothing whips ‘em into a ducat dropping frenzy like the words “throwback” or “retro.” Every company from Nike and Reebok to Chevy and Mercedes bring back popular marquees and models in hopes that the nostalgia will make them flock to stores. Recently, German design student Benjamin Nawka proposed his Datsun XLink concept in hopes of doing the same for the old Nissan brand…
