We know some dude named Lance won some bike races this decade; we know we’ve finally got a president that can hoop; we know some dimpled quarterback won a few Super Bowls. But those aren’t really the moments we’re interested in. Instead of the plays that make you say “Wow, that’s inspiring!” we’re more for the ones that make you say “Holy mother of man, that’s disgusting!” Hey, we’re a little off, what can we say? So if you’re at all like us, you won’t avert your eyes as we present the 100 Best Sports Moments of the 2000’s.

A t-shirt is just a t-shirt, right? Wrong. Especially wrong if you’ve been around this niche little industry we call streetwear. Continuing our ongoing Best of the 2000s series, this week we counted down the Top 100 Internet Videos of the decade. With the overabundance of viral goodness, we didn’t have enough room to highlight all the amazing internet-based music videos that have dropped over the course of the Aughts. Don’t worry, we didn’t forget!
In the first half of the decade, D.I.Y., low budget videos had a home on SMACK DVDs, BET Uncut and local video shows like Video Music Box. But after the rise of YouTube in 2005, and the cancellation of BET Uncut in 2006, the hip-hop world finally warmed up to the idea of releasing music videos exclusively for the internet, brimming with not-safe-for-TV content. Watch Complex’s picks for the 10 best below…

Just to give you a sense of where movies are right now, consider some current box office “hits”: a 3-D food movie, Bruce Willis in a hairpiece, a rehash of an ’80s musical, and two white people with chin dimples falling in love. You know what Hollywood needs right about now? Some BLAXPLOITATION, bitches! Thankfully, the beloved ’70s genre is poised for a comeback thanks to Michael Jai White, whose new movie Black Dynamite blasts its way into theaters in a couple of weeks. To give the kids a refresher, Complex put together an in-depth countdown of the genre’s best flicks, so you can know what’s really going down. Keep it pimpin’, pimpin’!

Over the last month, our Best of the 2000s blowout has produced some heated debates (In case you missed ’em: Top 100 Albums | Top 100 Sneakers | Top 100 Movies), and we think this week’s list will be no different.
See, more than anything, the Aughts have been all about watching videos on the internet. Over the last decade, we’ve witnessed the birth of the viral video through a series of important events: the first cell phone with a camera was introduced in 2001, YouTube was founded in 2005, and Nah Right started embedding videos in 2006. We assembled a comprehensive countdown of the decade’s 100 Best Internet Videos, from our favorite mainstream memes to some hilarious hip-hop blogosphere classics, for your viewing pleasure.

It wasn’t all good. There were a lot of awesome movies that came out in the 2000s—you can check them out on Complex’s 100 Best Movies of the 2000s countdown if you haven’t already—but there was a lot of disappointing dog shit too. Not all of the decade’s bad movies were intended for us, of course, but there were a number of flicks that had us amped, only to leave us sorely disappointed like a herpetic jumpoff. Check out the 10 worst violators…

Sean Kingston’s new album, entitled Tomorrow, comes out today. Now, we haven’t heard the album—nor will we ever (at least voluntarily)—but we’re gonna go ahead and judge an LP by its cover: terrible. It looks like he stole the clay character thing from Soulja Boy’s “YAHHH!” video, slapped his “SK” chain on it, and threw on some Rastafakin’ gear on it. No, trick, noooooo!
Anyway, after seeing this poor excuse for artwork, we decided to go back though the year’s music releases and compile a list of the 10 Worst Album Covers of 2009 (so far)…
