Style How to Get Kanye’s Look From The Casio G-Shock Event

Last night at G-Shock’s Shock The World 2009 event, the crowd was blessed with a preview of what Kanye’s upcoming tour with Lady Gaga will look like. After speeches from master tattoo artist and designer Mister Cartoon and a bunch of extreme sport athletes like skateboarder Stevie Williams, Kanye took to the stage rocking what appeared to be a Jabawoki mask (which he later removed) while scantily clad women also wearing masks brought the illuminated stage to life by rearranging pieces of the background during the performance. And unlike the futuristic, post-apocalyptic get up he wore on his Glow in the Dark tour, last night Kanye appeared to keep his fashion very minimal and functional. Keep reading and we’ll show you how you can do the same…

Style Buy It Now: Casio G-Shock DW-5600JP-2V

gshock1
Dope Casio G-Shock watches are as certain as death, taxes, and overreaction to a new Jay-Z song. You don’t really need us to oversell you on the virtues of a G-Shock, but suffice to say that it’s really the only watch you need until you can afford a proper one.

Today’s Buy It Now is the Casio G-Shock DW-5600JP-2V is black and blue, which is a good departure from all the bright/white G-Shocks we’ve been seeing lately. For Buy It Now info, see below…

Style Buy It Now: Casio Camo G-Shock

casio11

This new G-Shock by Casio is just like Kobe Bryant’s right elbow: camouflage. (Not nearly as bitch-made, though.) Today’s Buy It Now is a stainless-steel watch that has 29 time zones, a pre-programmed auto-calendar, water resistance (to 200 meters) and “tough solar” power. We’re not sure if you could use it to measure the speed of Kobe’s heart palpitations when Ron-Ron almost Q.B.’ed him last night, but it does have a stopwatch and a bunch of other useful features. For Buy It Now info, detail pics and a full list of technical specs, see below…

Style Buy It Now: G-Shock GLX-5600-1CR Watch

gshock1.jpg
The G-Shock really is the Rolex of digital watches'consistently stylish, always reliable and highly collectible. The rub, of course, is that a G-Shock costs a mere fraction of a Rollie, meaning that it’s far easier to build a solid G-Shock collection…or make an impulse G-Shock buy. So what are you waiting for?

The GLX-5600-1CR is your standard G-Shock, and by standard, we mean “awesome”: flexible band, stainless steel back, 200-meter water resistance, stopwatch, backlight, 29 time zones, shock resistance…you know the drill. For detail pics, Buy It Now info and more G-Shock goodies, see below…
