Still, this low budget Larry Cohen flick is definitely a horror classic, so a remake was inevitable. For the 2008 version, Bijou Phillips plays the unlucky mother who tries to cover up her spawn’s blood-thirsty habits. In anticipation of the film’s debut at Cannes in a few weeks, a trailer just leaked, and it looks like a bloody good time.
