In his weekly column, rapper John Brown—the self-proclaimed “King Of Da Burbz”—will be offering his insight into politics and current events to the Complex readers. Check out “Politickin With John Brown” every Thursday.

Today, President Obama hosts the unprecedented White House Beer Summit, with the hope that alcohol can disinfect any open political wounds still stinging from last week’s controversial arrest . This awkward political chess move is as genius as it is shallow – giving a whole new meaning to the term “drinking games”. The goal is vague but the symbology is stark: Nothin in ‘Merica can’t be fixed over a good ‘ol cold one. So what could happen at Barry’s keg party? Here are some possibilities…

5. RACIAL PROFILING COULD END
• Who knows? Once Obama’s swerving off that Coors he might get open and just ram through some aggressive anti-profiling legislation. Sergeant Crowley, a closeted-yuppie, might finish his Blue Moon and digress into an emotional meltdown, seeking forgiveness for his department’s racist tendencies. Or not.

4. COPS AND ROBBERS COULD BE PLAYED
• Part recreation, part training; Gates and Crowley could re-enact the chain of events of the arrest with play-by-play editorialized commentary from, say, Shaq the Sheriff and maybe, Steve Wilkos . It could later air on both ESPN and CNN, possibly hosted by Robert Stack. Just saying.

3. A BRAWL MIGHT OCCUR
• Could happen. Emotions were quite high leading up to the summit and Prof. Gates is notoriously opinionated. Sergeant Crowley might say some slick shit to retaliate for Obama’s comments following the arrest . If it goes down, you can expect Robert Gibbs to jump in.

2. OBAMA MIGHT DRUNK DIAL FORMER ADVERSARIES
• Possibly inspired by the British 19-year-old who drunk-called the White House in March, the trio might hop on the Skype and anonymously crank call old frienemies. “Hello, this is Reverend Wright speaking…Hello? Hello?…”

1. HE MAY POSE FOR PHOTO OP
• I’d really not like to think this is the case, but you just don’t know these days. It’s possible – extremely slim but indeed possible – that Mr. 44 is using this summit for nothing less than a politically calculated photo-op. Word to Axelrod.

After watching this fake commercial, the Irish beer company might want to add some more sex appeal to their marketing strategy.

Out here in little ol' New York City, this particular Friday is shaping up as one of the best days of the summer. With temps in the mid-80s and cloudless blue skies, some of us were already plotting to roll out of work a little early and find some place sunny to sip a few brews. Then we found this clip and decided it might be just as fun to drink indoors after all.

Enterprising amateur filmmakers have been throwing together fake ads since the dawn of YouTube, but this one for Guinness is easily the best so far. The concept is simple: three dudes split one bottle of the famed Irish stout'while triple-teaming some poor girl, using the small of her back as a table (EF a coaster!). We don't normally advocate sharing a single bottle of beer amongst three guys, but in this case, we'll make an exception. Check the full semi-NSFW clip that everyone will be talking about below.

Complex was invited to test drive Busch's new creation, releasing this October.

We’re Budweiser fans over here at Complex, so much so that even the guys who secretly prefer Zima still claim it as their go-to in order to avoid being labeled terrorist-lovers. Our friendly Anheuser Busch reps invited us to come test out the new Budweiser American Ale last night, a beer coming out in October that is designed to be more flavorful and more full-bodied than the O.G. While we were expecting a flavor profile hinting of Sierra Nevada hippie crap, we were pleasantly surprised by its drinkability. Budweiser American Ale hits stands on October 6th, so while you’re waiting check the jump for some photos from our blind taste test.

Pretty sure this one was original Budweiser:

Secrets:

Guess which is which:

Mmmmmmm. New shit!:

Beer guzzlers in NYC are psyched about Beermenus.com, a fully functional search engine that scopes out over 162 beer menus throughout the Big Apple. Think of the site as a liquid brother to the more familiar Menupages.com'it maps out every bar in the city where you can find your favorite brand of beer. The database is equipped to trace popular titles like Stella Artois to the more under-the-radar Stone Arrogant Bastard. There's also a user-generated aspect to the site that allows readers to submit their local watering hole's menu and options to update existing menus that are listed. Get to searching, another drunken weekend is almost here.

MacTarnahan's Brewing Company, located in Portland, Oregon prides itself on its unique microbrews and like most craft beers, Sling Shot contains about twice as much alcohol (6.2% to be exact) as your favorite domestic or imported suds and is brewed using the finest Cascade and Nugget hops. Taking a cue from the streetwear scene, this new beer will only be available as a limited release'Spring/Summer ‘08 only'and will only be found in the Northwest. For more on Mac beers head over here.

Although these beer tubes do have an almost inherently fratboyish tinge to them, we do see how they could come in handy for certain social occasions. They’re definitely a faster and easier way to pour beer, so there’s obviously some tremendous benefits to that. You can also fully personalize your beer tube with custom colors, logos, and bases with the help of Friendlydrink.com which could further reduce any fraternal influence with the right mix of graphic design elements.
