Politics & Crime Politickin’ With John Brown: Obama’s Drinking Game

obama_beer1
In his weekly column, rapper John Brown—the self-proclaimed “King Of Da Burbz”—will be offering his insight into politics and current events to the Complex readers. Check out “Politickin With John Brown” every Thursday.

Today, President Obama hosts the unprecedented White House Beer Summit, with the hope that alcohol can disinfect any open political wounds still stinging from last week’s controversial arrest . This awkward political chess move is as genius as it is shallow – giving a whole new meaning to the term “drinking games”. The goal is vague but the symbology is stark: Nothin in ‘Merica can’t be fixed over a good ‘ol cold one. So what could happen at Barry’s keg party? Here are some possibilities…

Sex Guinness Orgy Ad Proves Sharing Is Fun

guinnessad_main.jpgOut here in little ol' New York City, this particular Friday is shaping up as one of the best days of the summer. With temps in the mid-80s and cloudless blue skies, some of us were already plotting to roll out of work a little early and find some place sunny to sip a few brews. Then we found this clip and decided it might be just as fun to drink indoors after all.

Enterprising amateur filmmakers have been throwing together fake ads since the dawn of YouTube, but this one for Guinness is easily the best so far. The concept is simple: three dudes split one bottle of the famed Irish stout'while triple-teaming some poor girl, using the small of her back as a table (EF a coaster!). We don't normally advocate sharing a single bottle of beer amongst three guys, but in this case, we'll make an exception. Check the full semi-NSFW clip that everyone will be talking about below.

Booze Take A Sneak Peak At Budweiser “American Ale”

budtestbeer.jpg
We’re Budweiser fans over here at Complex, so much so that even the guys who secretly prefer Zima still claim it as their go-to in order to avoid being labeled terrorist-lovers. Our friendly Anheuser Busch reps invited us to come test out the new Budweiser American Ale last night, a beer coming out in October that is designed to be more flavorful and more full-bodied than the O.G. While we were expecting a flavor profile hinting of Sierra Nevada hippie crap, we were pleasantly surprised by its drinkability. Budweiser American Ale hits stands on October 6th, so while you’re waiting check the jump for some photos from our blind taste test.

There's also a user-generated aspect to the site that allows readers to submit their local watering hole's menu and options to update existing menus that are listed. Booze Bong Looking Devices Are For Drinking, Not Smoking

beerbong.jpg
Although these beer tubes do have an almost inherently fratboyish tinge to them, we do see how they could come in handy for certain social occasions. They’re definitely a faster and easier way to pour beer, so there’s obviously some tremendous benefits to that. You can also fully personalize your beer tube with custom colors, logos, and bases with the help of Friendlydrink.com which could further reduce any fraternal influence with the right mix of graphic design elements.
