The former Roc-A-Fella friends are beefing. Listen to all their classic duets from the good ol' days.

Let’s be honest: before Beanie Sigel came along, Roc-A-Fella records was kind of a joke. Maybe not a joke, but it was at best nothing more than Jay-Z’s vanity brand, a crew that consisted of limited MCs like Memphis Bleek and Sauce Money, and R&B acts like Rell and Christión. But it wasn’t until the Broad Street Bully came into the crew in the late ’90s that the Roc finally got a lyrical heavyweight who could really go toe-to-toe with the the God MC, Jay-Hova.

10 years later, the New York-Philly alliance is finally over. After floundering in the wake of the Roc-A-Fella breakup, Beans finally put out a diss song directed at Jay-Z last night, along with an in-depth interview about his reasons. We can’t say we didn’t see it coming, but it’s still a sad day for old fans of the Roc. Follow us as we look back at the good days with The 10 Best Jay-Z/Beanie Sigel Collaborations…

#10:
Jay-Z f/ Beanie Sigel, The LOX and Sauce Money “Reservoir Dogs” (1998)

Hova’s young gunner from Philly first popped up on this Eric Sermon-produced posse cut from Vol. 2…Hard Knock Life. When we heard him rhyme “testicle” and “vestibule,” we knew Beans was onto something.

#9:
Memphis Bleek f/ Jay-Z & Beanie Sigel “Murda Murda” (2003)

This joint was originally a Jay-Z-only outtake from The Blueprint, but it always seemed a little weird that Beans wasn’t on it, since the chorus includes the line “South Philly muthafuckas kill at will!” Luckily they recorded an official version for Bleek’s third album with the Broad Street Bully.

#8:
Beanie Sigel f/ Jay-Z “It’s On” (2003)

This stand-out track from the second State Property album is a laid-back duet from Hov and Beans. Jay even spits the line, “Young Vito, voice of the young people/If my life a movie, then Sieg gon’ be the sequel.” Damn.

#7:
Jay-Z f/ Beanie Sigel & Memphis Bleek “Change The Game” (2000)

Hov’s fourth album The Dynasty: Roc La Familia prominently featured Beans on nine songs, including this West Coast-flavored hit that was produced by Rick Rock. Something about Beans on a crip-walk beat just works.

#6:
Jay-Z f/ Beanie Sigel “Ignorant Shit” (2007)

This Just Blaze-produced outtake from The Black Album popped up as an official version on Hov’s American Gangster concept album in 2007. With the exception of a forgettable album cut on Beanie’s The Solution, which dropped a month after American Gangster, this stands as their final collaboration.

#5:
Scarface f/ Jay-Z & Beanie Sigel “Guess Who’s Back” (2002)

There’s something magical that happens every time these three get on the same track, most famously on this hit collaboration from Scarface’s sole Def Jam album, The Fix. We’re still smellin’ crack on our clothes.

#4:
Jay-Z f/ Beanie Sigel “Where Have You Been?” (2000)

The emotional crux from The Dynasty features Jay and Beans rapping about their twisted relationships to their fathers. You thought Ghostface and The Game were the only rappers crazy enough to actually cry on tracks? Think again.

#3:
Freeway f/ Jay-Z & Beanie Sigel “What We Do” (2003)

This classic posse cut from Freeway’s debut Philadelphia Freeway features an amazing performance from both MC’s. Their chemistry is especially apparent in the way that they actually flow from one verse to the other. “B. Sieg in the third lane!” MAYNE.

#2:
Jay-Z f/ Beanie Sigel & Amil “Do It Again (Throw Your Hands Up)” (1999)

The lead single from Vol. 3…The Life & Times of S. Carter seemed to catch people a little off-guard when it came out, with its unusual beat that sampled a go-go song. But as the years have gone by, this stands as one of Hov’s most reliable club-bangers, aided greatly by Beans’ memorable verse: “Got bitches in the back bounce-in-to-Jig-ga-what. Got ya hands up and I ain’t even stick ya’ll up.” Just make sure you change the record before Amil comes on!

#1:
Jay-Z f/ Beanie Sigel & Scarface “This Can’t Be Life” (2000)

The original Jay/Beans/Face collabo from The Dynasty remains one of Jay-Z’s greatest songs ever. On the classic early Kanye beat, each MC shows their vulnerable side, telling autobiographical stories about loss and personal frustrations. “Don’t worry, if it was meant to be, it’ll be soon.”

In weekend rap news, Joe Budden got into a physical confrontation with another rapper’s entourage this weekend. Okay, no sugarcoating, the beef-loving rapper got snuffed by one of Raekwon’s goons backstage on the L.A. stop of the Rock The Bells tour. Shortly after, Joey took to the increasingly ubiquitous Ustream service to tell his side of the story. Sure the Ustream factor of catching a hip-hopper getting punched may be new, but rappers have been putting hands on each (II) other for years. Keep reading to check out our brief History Of Hip-Hop Snuffs…

WHO GOT SNUFFED: Prodigy
• Keith Murray felt like Prodigy was dissing Def Squad when the Queens rapper took shots at MCs who only rap about weed and “space shit” on The Infamous. The feud was settled at an Onyx video shoot only for it escalate again in 1996 when P rapped “some pussy niggas feeling guilty about some space shit” on LL Cool’s posse cut (featuring Keith Murray) “I Shot Ya.” Murray reportedly proceeded to rock Prodigy in the face, possibly trying to stab his brain with his nosebone, when the two crossed paths at legendary NYC venue Tunnel shortly thereafter. Continuing the trend of sonning P, Saigon snuffed Prodigy onstage at his own show a decade later.

• New Jack Swing was like the Auto-Tune of the early ’90s, widely popular and widely hated on at the same time. Many took shots at the genre, but Teddy Riley and his group Wreckx-N-Effect made an example of Q-Tip in retaliation to Phife’s “strictly hardcore tracks, not a New Jack Swing” line on ATCQ’s “Jazz (We’ve Got).” True to their name, one of Tip’s eyes was wrecked and he was forced to wear a ski mask in the “Hot Sex” video. While on tour together last summer, Yung Berg got wind of some allegedly disrespectful comments from Maino and approached him in a nightclub about “talking reckless.” Maino didn’t take well to Berg’s aggressive approach and resulted to “disciplinary tactics,” slapping the young rapper in the face. Disgruntled rapper or confrontational fan, no one is safe from Maino’s open palm.

WHO GOT SNUFFED: Ja Rule
• What would any list of hip-hop altercations be without these two? Their list of confrontations seems endless, but an actual snuffing was the center of only one particular incident. Back in 1999, both artists were booked on the same bill in Atlanta and approached one another at a hotel they were both staying at. What started as a supposed peace talk quickly escalated and led to Curtis socking Jeffrey. Ja maintains that he hit 50 back immediately. Righttt.

• Like Joe Budden, The Game is no stranger to beef, but unlike Joe, The Game didn’t have to hold an ice pack on his face after this incident. Ras Kass did though. When Jayceon approached him in a club about some disrespectful lyrics, Ras left with a black eye.

WHO GOT SNUFFED: Fat Joe
• When 50 Cent went on NYC radio to clown Fat Joe early last year, station guests (and couple) Papoose and Remy Ma laughed along. This prompted Fat Joe to approach Papoose backstage at a North Carolina concert soon after, asking the rapper, “You got a problem with me?” Supposedly, Papoose said that he didn’t and asked Joe the same question. When Joe made it clear that he did have a problem, Papoose allegedly punched him in the face twice.

Eminem's diss record towards the pop diva is just the latest incident in the couple's twisted 8-year history.

Over the course of her career, Mariah Carey has been romantically linked to multiple celebrity men. She’s been ambiguous about some relationships and completely open about others, but has always vehemently denied any relationship with Eminem. Um, Marshall Mathers disagrees and for the better part of this decade, he’s been trying to get her to acknowledge their relationship.

The tension came to a head this week when he released the scathing diss record, “The Warning.” While it’s the most brutal moment of their conflicts, it’s certainly not the first. Keep reading to check out every detail of the long and complicated History Of Eminem And Mariah Carey’s Relationship…

2001: The Relationship Begins
• After Eminem met with Mariah to discuss a possible collaboration on her Charmbracelet album, the couple allegedly began dating.

2002: Mariah Turns Up On The Eminem Show
• Marshall mentioned the diva in song twice on his third album. He rapped “What you trying be? My new wife? / What, you Mariah? Fly through twice” on “Superman” and on “When The Music Stops” suggested that he would “beg Mariah to take [him] back” before censoring his lyrics.

2002: Eminem Confirms The Fling
• When asked about the relationship by Rolling Stone, Em answered, “There’s truth to that. But on the whole personal level, I’m not really feeling it. I just don’t like her as a person.”

2002: Mariah Denies Romance Rumors
• MC told Maxim that there was no “sexual relationship” between her and Slim Shady. She later told Larry King: “I hung out with him, I spoke to him on the phone. I think I was probably with him a total of four times. And I don’t consider that dating somebody.”

2002: Mariah Carey Clowns Slim Shady
• On “Clown” from Charmbracelet, the singer ambiguously addressed the relationship, saying that she “should’ve left it at I like your music too” and insinuates that the only reason she flew to Eminem’s house is because “taking [her] G5 twenty minutes wasn’t nothing.”

2003: The Diva Takes The Beef To The Stage
• Mariah’s 2003 tour included a The Marionette Show set that parodied The Eminem Show. While performing the aforementioned “Clown” a female dancer was brought on stage sporting a blonde wig and a Detroit Pistons jersey. She never said, “no shots” so it’s clear who the target was.

2005: Eminem Responds On His Own Tour
• During the Anger Management tour, Eminem played voicemail messages allegedly from Mariah with her saying “Why won’t you see me? Why won’t you call me?” amongst other longing statements. One of Mariah’s friends told the press that an “impostor” had recorded the messages.

2006: Marshall Mentions Mimi In Song Again
• Refusing to let the issue die, Slim talked about sexing the singer on “Jimmy Crack Corn” from the Re-Up album. “Your mind’s on us like mine’s on Mariah / And y’all are just like her, you’re all fucking liars / But I’ll just keep fucking you like I fucked her / Right in the ass with KY yes sir.”

2006: Em Lashes Out On The Radio
• While visiting his Shade 45 satellite radio station to promote The Re-Up, Em continued to address his relationship with Mariah. In between calling her a “bitch” and “cunt” he admitted that they “did have a relationship for about a good six, seven months.” He cited their personalities differences as the demise of the relationship and even complimented her talent, but was bothered by “the fact that she denied [they] ever had something.”

2007: Curtis Co-Signs Marshall
• On “All Of Me” from his Curtis album, 50 Cent spit: “Em predicted it all, I don’t know how he knew it / He said women from Hollywood they liars, liars, liars / You fuck them, they get you heated, deny it like Mariah.”

2009: Eminem Drops A Bomb On The Newlyweds
• After two years of silence, Mariah’s marriage to Nick Cannon set the rapper off and inspired Relapse’s “Bagpipes From Baghdad” where he calls Nick Cannon a “prick” and wishes him “luck with the fucking whore” amongst other insults. The song led to a lengthy blog post from Nick Cannon where he defended his wife, claimed Eminem never got to “second base,” and called him racist.

2009: Mimi Thinks Marshall Is Obsessed
• “Obsessed”, the first single from MC’s upcoming album, Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, seems to be a clear shot at Eminem, despite her and her husband’s denial of any beef. Mariah’s decision to portray a stalker in a very Eminem-like outfit for the music video makes it even harder to take the claims seriously.

2009: Eminem Ethers Mariah Carey
• Taking offense to “Obsessed” and Mariah’s constant denial of any previous romantic involvement, Eminem released this scathing diss track aimed at Mariah and her husband yesterday. He goes into graphic detail about their one sexual encounter and threatens to release incriminating pictures and audio confirming their relationship.

Method Man and Joe Budden went for a long walk on the beach this weekend and made up. Who says rappers can't play nice?

Few rappers start beef as often Joe Budden—and few squash beef as often, for that matter. The Jersey MC did the latter when he went for a stroll through some Jones Beach, NY shrubbery with Method Man to sort out their problems (luckily Mel D. Cole was there to snap the above photo). How touching.

You might not guess it, but rappers do have the ability to be nicer, more understanding guys than they’re given credit for, as these type of peace talks aren’t all that uncommon. There have been several in the recent years, in fact. Here are the five most heartwarming of the bunch…

RAPPERS: 50 Cent & The Game
CONFLICT: Game’s disloyalty to G-Unit, blah blah, do we really have to go over this again?
RESOLUTION: The two publicly squashed their beef at a March 2005 press conference in Harlem. The peace didn’t last, but the warmth of the embrace (and kiss?) pictured above will live on forever.

RAPPERS: Diddy & The Lox
CONFLICT: Diddy owning half of The Lox’s publishing despite them only releasing one album on Bad Boy.
RESOLUTION: Just one month after performing with Diddy in late 2005, The Lox went on Hot 97 to complain about him owning so much of their music (and threatening to push a fridge over a skyscraper on his head) before Mr. Combs himself called in to counter their claims. After all the tough talk, both parties heavily co-signed one another while promoting Jadakiss’ The Last Kiss on 106 & Park earlier this year.

CONFLICT: Ice Cube took offense to Common’s portrayal of gangster rap on “I Used To Love H.E.R.” and dissed him on “Westside Slaughterhouse.” Com then ethered the whole click with “The Bitch In Yoo.”
RESOLUTION: The death of Tupac and Biggie inspired Minister Louis Farrakhan to host The Nation of Islam Peace Summit aimed at deterring violence in hip-hop. Multiple feuds were resolved, but the pivotal moment came when Ice Cube got up and hugged Common. They didn’t have to “pause” that back then.

RESOLUTION: Lots of rappers no one really cares about were in attendance to settle beefs no one really cares about at the 2005 “Protect The West” peace conference (organized by Snoop and Steve Harvey), but it’s the thought that counts. Snoop told MTV: “I felt we should come together as one, organize, unify and start making records with each other and be about a cause.” Lil’ Eazy E later claimed it was a PR stunt on Snoop’s part.
With the Compton rapper's Jay-Z feud coming to a head, we take a look back at all 25 of his disputes.

After years of tension and subliminal jabs, conflict-obsessed rapper The Game got his wish when Jay-Z finally dropped his name while performing the Blueprint 3 intro. Never one to shy away from beef, rap fans knew it was only a matter of time before the Compton rapper responded, and sure enough early Saturday afternoon Game dropped a full-fledged diss song against Hov called “I’m So Wavy.”

It wasn’t a TKO in any sense, but don’t think Jayceon’s going to throw in the towel anytime soon. Dude has racked up more beef in the five years he’s been in the hip-hop game than, well, probably anyone. Don’t believe us? We’ve compiled all 25 of Game’s disputes into one comprehensive blog post, staggering evidence that the dude doesn’t play nice with others. Take a look back below…

THE GAME VS JAY-Z (2005 – Present)
• Cause: Who really knows? The Game has been dissing and praising Jay-Z since his first album. “Dear Summer”, particularly the DJ Clue version, was once viewed as Hov’s most open diss towards Game. They also traded subliminal lines on Game’s “It’s Okay (One Blood)” and Jay’s “The Prelude.”

The Game “I’m So Wavy”

Jay-Z “Blueprint 3 Intro (Live)”

• Effect: Game’s dream came true when Jay finally mentioned him by name during a live performance of Blueprint 3’s intro, prompting the “I’m So Wavy” diss.
————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

THE GAME VS VIDEO VIXENS (2006)
• Cause: On his Kanye West assisted single, “Wouldn’t Get Far”, the rapper called out Vida Guerra, Melyssa Ford, and Gloria Velez, insinuating that they only got famous by providing sexual favors. Game also claimed to have finger-banged Vida during a NYC radio interview.

The Game feat. Kanye West “Wouldn’t Get Far”

Vida Guerra responds. [WATCH IT]

• Effect: Vida responded in a radio interview and disputed any sexual contact with The Game.
————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

THE GAME VS 50 CENT (2005 – 2009)
• Cause: Shortly after the release of The Documentary, 50 took a strong disliking to Game’s desire to work with some of G-Unit’s enemies. “300 Bars” was amongst Game’s first disses (of many) towards the Unit.

The Game “300 Bars And Runnin’” [LINK]

50 Cent “Not Rich, Still Lyin’”

• Effect: Dozens of diss songs, two failed peace treaties, several online videos, and one wounded entourage member later, The Game apologized to 50 Cent “as a man,” acknowledging that he “did a lot of dumb things.”
————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

THE GAME VS RAS KASS (2006)
• Cause: Ras Kass confronted The Game in an L.A. nightclub about lyrics he felt were directed towards his son. The situation got heated and led to Game supposedly hitting Ras over the head with a bottle, although that has been disputed.

Ras Kass calls out The Game. [WATCH IT]

The Game responds. [WATCH IT]

• Effect: Of course, that incident led to a diss from Ras Kass, but Game never responded, claiming that it would be a waste of time because his opponent’s career was already over. The beef was never formally squashed despite Snoop Dogg’s repeated attempts to mediate the feud.
————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

THE GAME VS BOW WOW (2008)
• Cause: Bow Wow proceeded to challenge his friend and known gamer, The Game. Okay, this is more of a digital beef than a real beef, but what’s the difference these days anyway?

Bow Wow challenges The Game. [WATCH IT]

The Game accepts the challenge. [WATCH IT]

• Effect: The Game beat Bow Wow in the Madden Showdown. Badly.

Yo Win: come see me son. Leave the hurdy gurdy at home.

Proving that rappers aren’t the only musicians with thin skin and too much time on their hands, indie rockers Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips (above, left) and Win Butler of the Arcade Fire(above, right) have apparently ignited a much-dreaded hipster beef this week. First Coyne went in on Butler and his group, saying that AF “really treat people like shit” and calling them “pricks.” Butler then fired back, questioning whether Coyne is the “best judge if we are righteous, kind and goodhearted people.” (Ho snap! That’s cold.) Last we heard, Coyne was planning a series of Worldstar diss videos featuring his alter ego Slouchin’ Spencer and had unearthed photos of Butler littering. Slow down, people! Increase the peace before somebody’s ironic t-shirt gets ripped!

Sadly, this isn’t the first case of rock n’ rollers squabbling (just the most pathetic), and we’ve compiled an exhaustive list of six-string mudslinging, complete with their rap beef equivalents, in case you need some translation. Enjoy'just don’t step on our blue suede shoes (bitch)…

Taking exception to lyrics in Young’s songs “Southern Man” and “Alabama,” Skynyrd penned “Sweet Home Alabama” featuring the line: “I hope Neil Young will remember/A Southern man don’t need him around, anyhow.” The beef didn’t last long though, with Skynyrd frontman Ronnie Van Zant later rocking Neil Young tees in concert, and Young playing “Sweet Home” in concert after members of LS were killed in a plane crash.

Well, we can’t say we didn’t see this one coming. Anyone who’s followed 50 Cent’s history of beef (II) knows full and well that Curtis doesn’t half step when it comes to embarrassing his opponents. So it was only a matter of time before Curtis’ latest nemesis, William Leonard Roberts II bka Rick Ross got the Southside Special.

Yesterday, 50 released a video of him taking one of Rick Ross’ baby’s mothers shopping for furs and Gucci bags. Was the hilariously embarassing move a career-ender for Officer Ricky? All eyes are now on the Boss, waiting to see how he reacts. If it were up to Complex, we’d advise Ross to respond using one of these methods…

#5: RECORD A SONG WITH THE REAL NORIEGA

• The rap public scoffed when Ross boasted that he knew “Noriega'the real Noriega” on his debut single, “Husltin’.” We still don’t believe the hyperbolic boast, but his “realness” would seem a lot less fraudulent if he finally hooked up with the former De Facto Leader of Panama on a track. We’d even settle for a phoned-in interlude live from the bing.

While visiting NYC, most sneakerhead tourists stick to Manhattan, copping drops that they miss at stores like Flight Club and Clientele. Queens shop Secret Society thought it would be nice to put their thoughts about that process in a concise phrase on a T-shirt that reads “FUCK SOHO.” They shootin’!.

SS fires shots at spots that get the hype machine going'including Flight Club, Clientele, Supreme, Bape, Kidrobot, Union, as well as graffiti artist KAWS'on a t-shirt that will drop soon on their e-store secretsocietynyc.com. Is streetwear conflict the new rap beef? Will the majors respond to the Queens-based brick and mortar spot? We bet the anticipation is killing you.
Bill Gates hired the comic to spice up commercials for the new Windows Vista software. Check some of the brand's past attempts at entertaining marketing.

With as much money Microsoft stacks from running businesses to Xbox 360, their advertisements should equate that success, right? Wrong. They haven’t been able to crack the “cool” market because Apple holds it down with straight-forward, minimally-styled clips. But when Steve Jobs recently took another shot at Bill Gates‘ Windows Vista operating system, the software mogul tapped Jerry Seinfeld to clap back.

We’re not sure if the $300-million dollar campaign will actually work, simply because Jerry’s been catching bricks since Seinfeld went off the air. The handful of other ads he did for the geriatric crowd (American Express, Hewlett Packard), and last year’s Bee Movie are, well, straight up B’s. So we figured we could jog Microsoft’s memory (zing!) by compiling five (2 of which ended up being banned) of their greatest hits for a little inspiration.

The New York MC raps about a Complex photoshoot on his latest leak. Learn the inside story now!

Photo: Jaeki Cho

Yesterday, rookie New York MC Charles Hamilton leaked a song called “Windows Media Player,” and a lot of folks have been asking about a line where he mentions Complex:

“I don’t pose, I hate pose-urs/Except for one photoshoot/For Complex, what the heck was I supposed to do?/I had fun, acted mad young/I was flyer than the rest of ‘em, why am I addressing ‘em?”

What exactly is Charles talking about?…

Well, in our upcoming October issue, the young Harlemite poses with fellow hip-hop heads Wale, The Cool Kids, B.O.B. and The Knux in a truly fresh fashion story called “Leaders Of The New Cool.” (Issue on stands at the beginning of October!)

Complex really appreciates the shout-out, but we’ve been having a debate around the office: is Charles dissing the other MCs featured in the story by saying “flyer than the rest of 'em” (which also happens to be a Wale line from “Nike Boots”)? We can’t call it. Listen to the song below and let us know what you think.

With beef between the two adult film idols brewing, we imagine what their most vicious verses might sound like.

Long story short: in an interview last week, Tera Patrick talked kinda greasy about Jenna Jameson. Not a full-on insult, just a little sideways chatter. “There's a lot more things I've done than Jenna. I wouldn't say she has a mainstream presence….She has more of a porn look.”

So of course we thought, What if the two porn queens took it to the vocal booth? Both are known for outstanding oral work, so it stands to reason that a rap battle between the two would be an instant classic. So obviously we had to come up with lyrics for this hypothetical battle'check out the verses below then vote on who has the better spit-game…

Jenna’s Verse:

Bad look in BlackBook, talking so yeasty
I'll wipe my bleached asshole with some T.P.
You can't see me, Queen of Porn, Jenna Jameson
Your last feature had you billed as “that nameless cunt”
I'm such a success, I stopped filming fuck flicks
The only mainstream you know comes out a sucked dick
“Former Ford model” is code for “rusty clunker”
Used-ass ride every dude been in the trunk of
True, you used to be fly, now you look beat up
Lost weight, lost tits, got the DD-cup re-up
Say you natural but that's some bull
We see the Spalding logos on those basketballs
Scary-ass tranny, at least you're a great actress
Who could forget Soul Plane and all those other classics?
Oscar-worthy player, always real and raw
So believable in Tara Patrick AKA Filthy Whore
Your acting career stops at the casting couch
And pretending that you love doing ass to mouth
While you shag your spouse, way to get about something
But Evan's Seinfeld'his dick's about nothing
And nowadays, you only make him semi-hard
He saw better ass in the Oswald prison yard
And he's the only one willing to knock it
Cause you fucked Biohazard and now the pussy's toxic
And you only get more ink than me
When Evan's fucking you while he thinks of me
What's an FHM? I've never heard of it
I've been on Family Guy, all my work's legit
And I did Vice City. You? The 2nd Saint’s Row
My POV, you're bottom bitch from every angle
I'm shitting down your throat like a dump truck
Call it “2 girls, 1 cup,” one star, one slut

Tera’s Verse:

I’m the Queen of the Valley, ma, I’m runnin’ Saints Row
I ride high, you hang low, so I’ma let the brains blow
I got brains, you just blow–takin’ shots? Hi, hater!
All you take is more D’s than a vibrator
I’m queen imperial of spank bank material,
I heard you’re pregnant–gonna name the kid Venereal?
Eggs must be scrambled from the gallons of sperm
You better stay doin’ them Kegels just to carry to term
I lox it down like bagels, make dudes cream for the cheese
You half-man like Sable, lookin’ mean and diseased
Can’t do numbers no more–you just old, washed up,
Ass-out like “2 Girls, 1 Cup”–YUP!
So sad you’re so saggy, vulva look like Richard Nixon
Call you Ticonderoga ’cause you had so many dicks-in
So now you on blast like bukkake, you can’t stop me,
Baby daddy’s the albino retarded version of Rocky
He ain’t Sly, you ain’t slick–no ass, no hips,
Steady lookin’ like a drag queen with them fake-ass lips

These lightweight MCs recently started talking tough after being tested by foes. Vote on which will be able to stand the pressures of rap stardom.

When you think of rappers talking smack, images of brolic heavyweight types like 50 Cent and Fat Joe come to mind. But recently, Yung Berg and Tyga'two light-weight MCs known for making teen-friendly crossover hits'have gotten caught in the crosshairs of rap beef. Berg claimed he would punch Florida MC Brisco, while Tyga released a video to clap back at G-Unit flunkie 40 Glocc, who claimed he stole the youngster’s chain.

For two positive kids who just want to make fun music, it’s sad that they’ve gotten pulled into the world of back and forth rap beef. But if they want to have a long career in the competitive hip-hop world, it certainly won’t be the last time they’ll make enemies. Which little guy will hold up better under the pressure? Watch both of their recent tough-guy videos and vote below.

Yung Berg Takes Aim At Brisco

After making a hilarious remark about his own album being pushed back like Flo-Rida’s hairline, Berg became the target of Flo-Rida’s cousin, Brisco. After repeatedly attempting to squash the beef, YB couldn’t take it any more. In a recent interview on the Sirius Satellite Radio show Lipservice, Berg makes it clear he’s ready to get physical with Brisco, claiming that he’ll punch him in the f’ing mouth the next time he sees him.

Tyga Discusses His Robbery

After Tyga was robbed for his Young Money chain, G-Unit affiliate 40 Glocc claimed he was behind it. Tyga quickly rebuked this claim via video where he he recaps the event and disses the thieves, icey and as confident as ever. He mocks the chain-snatchers for having to use a gun, and reaffirms how he knows a lot of “O.G’s in the streets.”

DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Jim Jones and Birdman all show up on the Atlanta anthem.

This week will be remembered as the moment when the T.I./Shawty Lo beef finally came out of the closet. After throwing subliminals at each other for the last year, they both publicly acknowledged the tension for the first time in separate radio interviews'Tip on ATL’s 107.9, and Lo on Kay Slay’s show.

Now, on the brand new “Foolish” remix, which features DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Jim Jones and Birdman (on the vocoder!), Lo contunues his quest to bring Tip’s Bankhead origins into question: “Cross your T’s and dot your I’s / I’m the real Bankhead, that’s no lie!” It ain’t exactly an ether, but its the closest either of them have come to saying the other man’s name on record. Listen after the jump.

A new thorn in Fat Joe’s side comes by way of Bang Bang Boogie, a (sort of) supergroup made up of a few overlooked MCs from the Bronx. The group includes Lord Tariq, Mysonne and Fat Joe’s former Terror Squadian Cuban Link, along with S-One and Hocus, two newcomers from the Castle Hill projects. And in a perfect example of “The enemy of the enemy is my friend,” 50 Cent even shows up to co-sign the Fat Joe diss by rocking the crew’s T-shirt and introducing the video. After the jump, watch the carnage.
