Ever since Apple opened the iPhone App Store up to adult content, developers have been going crazy with naughty creations.

Last month, Apple began letting developers submit adult content to the iTunes App Store, and we don’t mean the kind of apps your parents would download when we say “adult.” Yeah, Steve Jobs and his goons opened up iPhones across the world to good old-fashioned dirty applications focused on sex.

You know those people that never stop talking about all the apps on their iPhone? Well, these are the ones they downloaded on the down low. Is that a touch-screen mobile device in your pocket or are you just excited to hit the jump? Sigh, just keep reading to check our guide to the 5 sleaziest iPhone applications…

After selling a milli in one weekend, Apple's new iPhone 3GS is our first gadget of the week. Check out the full review.

<img src="http://www.complex.com/blogs/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/iphone3gs_2up.jpg" alt="iphone3gs_2up" title="iphone3gs_2up" width="300" height="350" class="alignright size-full wp-image-41417"/align="right">WHAT: Apple iPhone 3GS

PRICE:$199 for 16GB, $299 for 32GB

COMPARE TO: Palm Pre, T-Mobile G1, Blackberry Storm

FUN FACT: The “S” stands for speed.

WHY COMPLEX IS CO-SIGNING IT: Because even if you don’t have an iPhone, we know you’ve been secretly lusting for one since they debuted over two years ago. And now with Google, and more recently and importantly, Palm, raising the bar for what smart phones are supposed to be, it was only a matter of time before Apple adjusted their offering to resume its place atop of the mobile phone totem.

If it looks identical to the iPhone 3G that’s because, cosmetically, it is. All the major upgrades take place inside. The original iPhone was amazingly elegant and simple to use. The software packed into its sleek dimensions allowed users to compute on the go in a way they’ve never been able to before. But even with all that, there were still a few, well, a lot, of features missing from the heavily hailed phone.

Features like, copy and paste, the ability to use your phone as a modem (known as tethering), universal search, voice dialing and, unbelievably, the ability to send picture messages. In response to the outrage voiced by iPhone users around the world, Apple released their latest iPhone software, 3.0, which does all that and more. Flick the screen to the right and you’ll get access to the universal search screen which allows you to search emails, contacts and notes on your phone. It doesn’t allow you to search the Internet like on the Palm Pre, but it’s a much, much needed upgrade. You can also use the virtual keyboard in landscape mode in any program you want, which makes typing long emails much easier. Oh yeah, if you have an iPhone 3G, you can download the 3.0 software now and get access to all these features. So why should you get the 3GS over the now cheaper 3G?

Speed. If you have a iPhone, after a couple months of use, you’ve probably noticed your phone lagging a bit when opening apps like Safari or your messages. The 3GS cuts out that lag time. Safari opens up in almost half the time, making it less frustrating to use after you’ve loaded your phone with photo’s and apps. The digital camera has also been upgraded to 3 megapixels and they’ve finally thrown in a video camera that records 30 frames per second video that you can then easily edit and share with friends. There’s also a built in compass that works in Google Maps so you don’t have to twist your phone around when you get out of the subway to figure out which direction your facing. Put simply, with all the new features, this is the phone Apple should have released when they gave us the first iPhone.

Do iPhone cases actually protect your iPhone? Maybe. Do they make it cooler? If it’s by Fragment, and if it’s in the colors of Fall ‘09, then yeah. Tomorrow will be remembered as a day of mourning for the Apple faithful. Due to personal health issues, CEO and founder Steve Jobs will not be delivering his renowned keynote speech at the 2009 MacWorld conference. Not only that, but it was announced that this is going to be the last year Apple will be at the world’s biggest trade show, supposedly because they no longer want the pressure of releasing new products every year. Right.

They can try to spin it, but it seems like Apple may have hit a wall. Fair enough'how much cool, game changing, zeitgeist shit can one company possibly release in a decade? But they forgot one little fact: people will buy anything with an Apple logo. In fact, we've proposed a few new markets Apple should look into before calling all the big MacWorld announcements off…

Will the next generation iPod Nano that just leaked turn out to be fake like these other fictional Steve Jobs fantasies?

This past weekend, tech journalist Kevin Rose leaked a photo (above) of what he says will be the next generation of the iPod Nano. He also said that iTunes 8.0 will bring a number of significant changes and updates. What those changes and updates are, no one knows, but supposedly they’re coming.

This kind of rumor mongering ain’t new. In the world of Apple fandom, rumors are discussed and dissected on message boards like they read it on Steve Job’s Twitter feed. But more often than not, those rumors are just improbable hearsay. Check out a few products we wish would have come to fruition…

30th ANNIVERSARY MAC

At the 1997 Macworld, Apple CEO Gil Amelio introduced the limited edition 20th Anniversary Mac or TAM. Although the internals were nothing remarkable for a machine that costs damn near $8,000, it was the most futuristic looking desktop at the time, with a profile only 2.5” thick and a built-in LCD screen borrowed from the Powerbook. So when it was rumored that Apple was going to be releasing a 30th Anniversary Mac at their ‘07 Macworld, the Apple-verse went nuts, conjuring up renderings of what they were sure would be the most forward thinking computer design to ever be created, ever. Macworld 2007 came and went and although we didn’t get a 30th Anniversary Mac, we did get the iPhone.

APPLE PLASMA TV

This rumor sprouted up a couple times before tech journalist Jason O’Grady announced it was gonna happen at the ‘06 Macworld. He said that Apple was about to drop 47” and 50” plasma HDTVs with an entire Intel based computer running Max OS X crammed inside. What’d we get instead? The half-baked Apple TV.

TABLET MAC

Now that they have an ultra-portable laptop and a mobile phone, the tablet Mac is one of the products Apple fanboys wish the Cupertino, CA company would finally release. The tech is all there. We know they can make super small portables and we know they’re good at implementing touch screens, so what’s the hold up? Whatever it is, they’ve been beat to the punch by a company called Axiotron who released the Best of Macworld winning Modbook. It may not be as elegant as something Apple would release, but, like getting dome when it’s your girls time of the month, it’s better than nothing.

HEADLESS iMAC/MID-RANGE TOWER

If you’re in the market for an Apple desktop, you’ve got three options. There’s the $600 low-end and non-expandable Mac mini, there’s the all-in-one iMac, and then there’s the $3,000, super-high end quad-core Mac Pro workstation. While that may seem adequate, there’s a large number of people who don’t need the power of the Mac Pro but want the same expandability. Every other computer company offers at least one. C’Mon, smarten up, Steve.

iCAR

It seems the more technologically advanced cars become, the more confusing they are to use. One day with BMW’s iDrive will make you never wanna bump music in your car again. So when it was rumored that Apple and Volkswagen were in talks about an in-car integration system, it’s understandable why people went ape shit. Imagine having a R32 with an iMac fully wired into it. It’d be the best of both worlds without the pepper spray and lawsuit.

Bill Gates hired the comic to spice up commercials for the new Windows Vista software. Check some of the brand's past attempts at entertaining marketing.

With as much money Microsoft stacks from running businesses to Xbox 360, their advertisements should equate that success, right? Wrong. They haven’t been able to crack the “cool” market because Apple holds it down with straight-forward, minimally-styled clips. But when Steve Jobs recently took another shot at Bill Gates‘ Windows Vista operating system, the software mogul tapped Jerry Seinfeld to clap back.

We’re not sure if the $300-million dollar campaign will actually work, simply because Jerry’s been catching bricks since Seinfeld went off the air. The handful of other ads he did for the geriatric crowd (American Express, Hewlett Packard), and last year’s Bee Movie are, well, straight up B’s. So we figured we could jog Microsoft’s memory (zing!) by compiling five (2 of which ended up being banned) of their greatest hits for a little inspiration.
Two years ago, Apple and Nike married music with sports through a project called Nike+iPod. Through Steve Jobs’s technology, a small device is inserted into one foot of your running shoes, and all the details about your workout (time, and distance traveled) are recorded on your iPod. All they needed was the music to match.

Since linking up, they’ve already commissioned exclusive “Original Run” mixes by LCD Soundsystem, Aesop Rock, and the Crystal Method. In the latest installment, DJ/Producer A-Trak fuses hip-hop sounds for an adrenaline rush of electronic beats. The 43-minute mix called Running Man dropped Tuesday and is now available on iTunes. Listen to a sample A-Trak song below.
Looks like the next “it” band to blow up from an Apple advertisement could be The Ting Tings. Although the British pair have never gotten a major commercial look, lead singer Katie White and instrumentalist Jules De Martino could very well become the new Feist, who blew the fuck up last year when “1,2,3,4″ was featured in a Nano commercial.

In addition to the Apple co-sign, the Ting Tings’ new single “Shut Up and Let Me Go” will appear on their debut album, We Started Nothing (due out May 19). After the jump, watch the commercial and a video of the duo performing the song live in LA.

The new "Head Mounted Display System" could be the future of mobile entertainment.

Mac nerds have been gossiping about the possibility of “iPod Shades” since Steve Jobs toyed with the idea of using head-mounted video displays in a 2005 interview. Well, it looks like the company may have taken the first step towards making this into a reality when a recently filed patent for a “Head Mounted Display System” went public late last week. The “goggles” include a an integrated fiber optic line which acts as a lanyard that can be tightened to fit your head. The patent also includes several concepts related to the display, like an imaging device that splits video signals into a right and left image. Check out some more diagrams from the extensive patent after the jump.
Apple is expanding it’s multi-touch technology beyond its line of iPhones, iPods, and the newly coveted Air, upgrading the MacBook Pro now too with a touch sensitive trackpad. You can now “pinch, swipe, or rotate to enlarge text, advance through photos, or adjust an image.” Marvel at the the video demonstration.

Nike teams up with Apple to create Nike + at an exclusive NYC unveiling.

Ever get the feeling that you don't quite belong? Sure, we consider ourselves cool and all, but when Nike invited us to check out some top-secret shit that they were about to unveil, supposedly with Apple involved somehow, we didn't expect this: we walked into a breakfast meeting of about 25 people, people being an understatement. We're talking gods here, like Shawn Stussy, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Spike Lee, James Jebbia.

So who comes out to shed some light on these Nike/Apple rumors? Nike CEO Mark Parker, and the man himself, Apple CEO Steve Jobs. Holy crap. If someone dynamites this spot right now, we thought, nothing cool would come out for the next 5 years. In a word: Drowning in steez.

Messrs. Parker and Jobs then showed us the Air Zoom Moire Plus: a three-part component system of a sneaker, iPod Nano, and a $30 device that makes it the next big thing. The sneaker, the Air Zoom Moire Plus, has an embedded smart chip that communicates with your iPod Nano, and while you run you can access pace, distance traveled, and time all with the touch of a button. A nice woman comes over your music and lets you know everything you need to keep on.

That's not all, though. When you're done with your exercise, plug in your Nano and upload all the information onto a special website that will track your daily progress. It's one of the coolest things we've seen in a while, and might just be the thing to get us off our asses.
