Art Giant Bird’s Nest Takes Over Office Building

In the wake of 9/11 (and the Yankees’ late Corey Lidell), seeing a gaping hole in the side of any building at this point should give you chills. Not in Brussels, Belgium though, where one daring artist built a giant bird’s nest on the side of an office building.

Artist Benjamin Verdonck installed the piece, entitled “The Great Swallow,” for five days last year, topping it off with the falling of a massive egg. We can’t help but laugh as he spreads his arms for the bewildered pedestrians staring up. Watch a video of the artist in his creation below.
