While doing press for his new documentary, This Is Jim Jones (which hits stores next Tuesday), the Capo invited us into his NYC studio to talk about one thing we both love: sneakers. Complex’s Dec/Jan cover star, who’s currently on his splash campaign, twittering a new pair of sneakers he’s rocking every day from now until September, spoke on his kick game back in the day, and then invited brands to give him his own shoe (while throwing a few jabs at other rappers with signature sneakers).
Oh, and wait till the end of the video to get Capo’s take on the Air Yeezy. Watch the video below. Jones!

Tomorrow, the Yeezy madness comes to a close with the tan/tan colorway releasing. This colorup will be the last make-up of Mr. West’s space shoes to drop ever, unless the Swoosh agrees to give him a follow-up. The usual top-notch spots like DQM, UNDFTD, Commonwealth and of course Nike Sportswear will stock the shoes, and if you’re waiting in line in this terrible rain, we wish you the best locking down a pair. And if you were able to cop all three pairs, consider it a huge achievement in this little sneaker-nerd world we live in.

RELEASE REMINDER: Like you really needed one. Yup, tomorrow the second colorway of Mr. West’s sneakers drop, and if you thought the hype has died down, you’re mistaken. If you’re not in line already, don’t bother trying to score a pair, people have been camped out since last weekend.
One important update for NY heads, the sneakers will be hitting Nike’s 21 Mercer street location, but not the 34th street Footlocker and Footaction stores. The space-shoes will also be at all three of the House of Hoops locations. Good luck to everyone trying to score a pair, and if you haven’t already check out our behind the scenes feature of the making of the Air Yeezy, right HERE.
