Diesel Watch Fueled By OLED

Being that people don’t even wear watches to tell time anymore—they rely on their cell phones for that—the trend of making watches that look more like jewelry is starting to make sense. Diesel created this minimalist masterpiece that comes fitted with an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display that lights up the time only when a button on the side of the watch is pressed. The timepiece comes in stainless steel ($215), but if you prefer animal skin wrapped around your wrist, there’s a leather version ($136.50) too. The only design drawback is that like a standard clock, this watch needs two hands to tell the time.

Although many luxury cars offer keyless entry and other similar variants, this is the first time we’ve seen a high end watch do that job. But it’s not like they just throw it in with the car. This engine starting timepiece that would have even made “Q” jealous, costs $35,000. A paltry sum we’re sure for those who just dropped $332,000 on the luxury roadster, not like they were worried about cutting corners in the first place.

Chanel Watch Created For One Rich Lucky Bastard

Although we derided the Hermes Cape Cod watch as pretentiously douchey, and more of a timepiece befitting of a WASPY old granddad, this J12 Tourbillion one of a kind Chanel watch is elegantly gangster. This white ceramic, sapphire encrusted luxury watch was specifically created for the re-opening of their Beverly Hills Store, and even though we don’t really care for shopping on Rodeo Drive, this thing is conspicuously clean. The only drawback besides what must be an outrageous price, is that it does require manual winding, and even for a rich guy, that’s gotta be a tough thing to rationalize when buying a watch that cost as much as a car.
