We’ve always repped for Quentin Tarantino (and his women) and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise in the past, so it was a pleasant surprise to run across this unique viral video that’s making its rounds on the web right now. Imagine if the worlds of Reservoir Dogs and TMNT were combined and this mash-up is what you get. Seems a bit odd, but trust us, if you like either in the least you’ll find this entertaining.

Don’t let the fact that Kanye West has been laying low lately fool you into thinking that crowds don’t go crazy for him anymore. British concertgoers had already packed London’s famous O2 Arena to see Beyoncé perform and lucked out when a couple more superstars showed up. Hov came through to support his wifey, and Kanye hit the stage to spit his verse from thier hit, “Ego.” The festivities went down a few nights ago, but quality footage is just now hitting the web. Watch Ye’s cameo above.

Sure, Terry Kennedy is much better at skating than rapping. That doesn’t make the latest Fly Society video for “Get Rich” any less entertaining. In fact, it probably adds to it. Song quality aside, there’s something undeniably cool about a diamond-clad skater talking shit over beats just because he can. We’ll admit it even if no one else does.

No lengthy introduction is necessary when talking about Beyonce and Lady Gaga. Two women with a daring sense of fashion. Two women who sell more records than your favorite rapper. Two women who Kanye West rides hard for. It was only a matter of time before today’s reigning queens of pop music worked together on something. That something happens to be a remix of B’s “Video Phone” that’s much more effective as a music video than a song, but generally great nonetheless. Budding female superstars take note: these ladies have raised the bar…again.

Compared to delay-ridden past efforts, all activities surrounding the release of Til The Casket Drops seem to be rolling along smoothly. Last week, another song and artwork from the album was revealed. It’s just started, but this week is already looking like another good one for the Brothers Thornton with the brand new “Popular Demand (Popeyes)” video featuring Cam’ron here to kick things off. After what felt like a million behind-the-scenes features, it’s nice to have the final product. Watch it above.

It’s no secret around here that the past 10 years have passed us by. While we’ve been obsessed with recollecting the best moments of the 2000s, it doesn’t hurt to take a look back at the craziness that was the final year of the ’90s.
Thinking about 1999, it seems like the cult classic, Fight Club, was just as culturally relevant as events like the Y2K scare or introduction of Eminem. That’s why special midnight screenings are being held in New York and Los Angeles on November 18 (Tuesday night, but technically Wednesday morning) to celebrate the film’s 10th anniversary. RSVP information is behind the link on each city. If you can’t make it or don’t live on the coasts, cop it on Blu-ray next Tuesday.

Comedy stars Tina Fey and Steve Carell were already close in a sense with 30 Rock and The Office running back-to-back on Thursday nights on NBC, and now they’re both at the helm of full-length feature film, Date Night. It doesn’t look groundbreaking, but there’s no way these two will get together without producing a good amount of solid laughs. The wacky premise of a couple on-the-run due to mistaken identity plus the overload of A-list cameos (Mila Kunis, Leighton Meester, Mark Wahlberg, James Franco, Mark Ruffalo, Kristen Wiig, Ray Liotta, Olivia Munn, etc) almost guarantee hit status for the flick. We’ll know for sure when it hits theaters in April.

Everyone loves a good hater anthem and Chamillionaire manages to keep the oft-used concept fresh with an infectious chorus and Tom Petty-sampling production that wouldn’t sound out of place on adult contemporary radio. We posted “Good Morning” for download months ago, but the video just hit the ‘net. It might not win a Grammy like “Ridin’ Dirty” but we definitely underestimated this record’s hit potential. If it catches on, Venom could move some respectable units when it drops in February of next year.

Back in the day, kids actually had to go outside to skateboard. Tony Hawk: Ride, which hits stores in exactly one week, is set to bring the experience to your living room. We won’t pretend like an infrared sensor-equipped peripheral will ever replace the real thing, but this game does look kinda cool. The virtual pavement experience is yours for $120.

We knew Tom Ford was a talented guy after his brand-defining work with Gucci, YSL, and his own label, but the multifaceted designer is moving onto movies now and he appears to be no slouch in that category either. His directorial debut, A Single Man, is about a gay college professor in 1960s California, whose boyfriend dies in front of him and the inner madness that ensues. Colin Firth won best actor honors at the Venice Film Festival for his performance, production design was handled by the Mad Men team, and general Oscar buzz has already started swirling for this dark, period piece. The film hits theaters in limited released on December 11.
