Complex’s 2010 Style & Design Issue Officially Hits Stands On August 10.
Lohandemonium. That’s what it’s been like in the Complex office for the past few months, after getting the chance to shoot a cover story with one of our favorite actresses. Lindsay Lohan has had a crazy couple of years months, and we found ourselves at the center of her personal drama after our August/September cover shoot ended up in the tabloids back in May. Fast forward a couple of manic months, and her legal woes are coming to a head (LL reports to prison tomorrow), so we consider ourselves lucky to be able to present this super-sexy photoshoot just to remind everyone of just how bad (meaning good!) Lindsay is. Featuring art by none other than KAWS, the story kicks off our 2010 Style & Design Issue in ultimate Complex style. Unfortunately, Lindsay got caught up in the madness—Cannes, court, and conviction—before we had a chance to interview her, so we instead used the cover story to ask the question everyone’s forgetting: what’s it like to be LiLo right now? For all the hand-wringing and schadenfreude everyone seems to love indulging in, this is still a human being, and one who’s contending with a world that clearly wants her to fail. Not us, though—if it were our call, all she’d do is win. We got your back, Linds!

Man, she has a lot of freckles. I like the cover, but the shoot is whatever. Still one of my favorite chicks, though. That body is still very on point.

I can’t front… sometimes the most trifey ones who look like they gon’ bring mad drama end up being the ones that stay down for you, thick & thin. They just want love. Buuuuut LiLo… she’s already proven to be a mess in a relationship. This chick need a hood cat to calm her itch! She needs an anchor, not an enabler or leech!

Obviously they got your attention so I think they are doing the job and when it comes down to it all of you out there that are quick to judge Lindsey are you trying to say you are perfect because I don’t know any perfect people including my self I think she has went down the wrong path just like many of us have or will at one point in our lives so maybe you should think about that before you pass judgment on some one else do I think she needs to pay for it yes we all do at some point but do I think we all have the right to judge her no I don’t she was already judged in court

I like what you did. As a mom of an addict (in recovery) and familiar with all the chaos and drama that goes along with that, I’m glad to see Lindsay still has some support.
With prescription drugs, alcohol, cocaine mixed in with a young brain, reasoning skills are inhibited. I, too, hope she is able to come through this with health and well being. Her career can be phenomenal!
Although everyone, including parents, has his/her own quirks and foibles, I can relate to each of her parents who I believe love her uniquely. They are parents and she is their baby. This is so difficult for loved ones to watch and live. For those of us who live this, we can relate. For those who are critical and have not lived this, I hope they are grateful.
Again, I commend your magazine on your positive spin.
