• This new record from Earl Simmons isn’t even finished, but we’re intrigued to say the least. The beat should be a lot nicer when Swizzy completes it and the sole verse is pretty hot. Someone leak that full version ASAP.

• A lot of electro-types OD on the drawn out synths and lo-fi vocals, but these guys got it just right on this track. Press play and let the zone out begin.

• Even dudes who don’t fuck with R&B had to respect “1 Thing” but this single probably won’t get the same universal love. It’s cool though. Plus, she’s hot. Watch the video, if anything.

• Our favorite UK rapper started off making hardcore grime bangers that we loved and then lost us with some of his more poppy stuff. Fortunately, this mixes both styles perfectly.

• Sure, tough talk sounds less convincing from Young Buck after hearing him weep over the phone during those 50 Cent convos, but we won’t front on dude’s talent. He goes for a smooth, West Coast vibe on this one and pulls it off pretty nicely.
