How to Dress Like Jay-Z and Kanye in the “Run This Town” Video
When we learned three of the biggest, best dressed pop stars of our generation were all going to appear in a video together, we excepted some glamorous, big money shit. Wouldn’t you? Instead, the Anthony Mandler helmed video for Jay-Z’s second Blueprint 3 single, “Run This Town” has the trio in, what appears to be, a war torn village overrun by rebels (watch it below). There’s also no electricity, just tiki torches and lots and lots of leather. Cool…?
However, we’re guessing Jay had a treatment like this in his mind from the get-go, ’cause guess what color everyone in the video is wearing? Yup. All black everything! And despite their locale being completely run down, Jay-Z, Kanye and Rihanna look like they just hit the mall and threw a couple ‘fits in the bag. Hov and Ye’s looks may not be for everyone, but we’ve all had those nights when we wanna feel completely murdered out (black on black on black).
