Timberland has been holding the boot game down forever, but construction Tims used to be a cold-weather-only look (unless you’re part of Boot Camp Clik or less than a year outta prison). Nevertheless, some Complex-friendly artists have been spotted recently bending those rules by rocking Tims in the summer. Among the rebels are Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Drake, who rocked them at the BET Awards. Are boots in heat a suspect look or are the construction Tims truly a year-round staple? We have been rocking Timbo’s for years in New York during the summer. It’s not a new thing. Get with it. I think it’s an East coast thing. Cats in Philly & Jersey been doing it for years also. Don’t hate.

Y’all are crazy. Butter Timbs are the freshest looking boots of all time. Ain’t nothing wrong with rocking Timbos in the summer. Timbs don’t even keep your feet warm in the winter. I can’t count how many Novembers, Decembers and Januarys my feet have been fucking freezing cold on the block when I was rocking some butter Timbs.

Too hot in D.C. for Timbs or any kind of boot. A pass goes to people who wear them for career reasons though.

I think non of them pulled it off…Cause you cant wear skinny jeans w/ Tims…Has to be boot cut jeans…I.E. that’s why their called boot cut jeans…The only color you can really pull off in the sumeer is the classic tan…
