What movie best captures your style? I don’t think a movie could capture my style unless I’m in it.

What trend do you want to see die? Ed Hardy clothing, period!

Last clothing item you purchased? A distressed brown leather vest from The Salvation Army.

Most money you ever spent on a single item of clothing? $398 on the BCBG Max Azria bag. I’m not a big spender actually.

Favorite website? WGSN. I love my internship.

What do you collect? I collect chains and random pieces to put on them and make necklaces.

What is your favorite brand? My favorite brand is Levi’s, which never fails me. Also Uniqlo for their basic T-Shirts.

What is your favorite tech gadget? My “Go Green” Apple Macbook.

What’s the most common statement people make about your style? People love what I wear so I always get compliments on things I have altered for myself and recreated from old clothing. They usually let me know that I’m very creative and talented at what I can do for myself. They say that I should be in design but I’m like, “I can’t dress the world like me; what will I wear?”

What do you see as the next big trend? Individuality. Relive the ’90s style but in a modern way.

What is your favorite city? Toledo for the fact that I can chill on the porch. New York for the fashion and MTA system.

What is your dream job? I want to be a creative director for a brand or magazine.

Who is your dream date? Jourdann Dunn.

What is your trend proof style advice for our readers? Do you! Fuck what everyone else is about. Wear what you want to wear to express yourself.

How has the recession affected your life? I try to not let it get to me. I was always very thrifty from the beginning and thanks to mom I know how to shop around. I did lose a paid internship from the recession this past March and I’m taking it one day at a time. You gotta live your life regardless.
