My suggestions:

I don’t agree with signing new people. Just as long as the entire set could get their cohesiveness back together, then they would get their credibility back. And plus, heatmakerz was a good look for basically the entire Diplomatic Immunity 1.

But for right now, I can’t fade the Set dropping JR or 40 – they both go hard in the booth. To bring more attention to the movement, overlooked members just have to release videos for their street anthems or club bangers! A video for Hell Rell’s “Street’s Gone Love Me” or JR’s “Gorilla Musik”.

While we are on the topic of videos, all members would have to drop high quality videos that would get airtime during the day (I’m especially referring to Cam). Last two albums, all his videos have been cheap, low production joints that look like they would be on late-night, BET Uncut.

Cam need to holler at VH1 bout a “Making Of The Band” style REALITY TV show to fill in the all new Diplomats — recruit just from Harlem High Schoolers & maybe a couple other talent shows, but still — only from Harlem.

Cam hilarious ass been supposed to have a reality TV show — not to mention that young Harlemites are ridiculous to watch!! They’ll be guaranteed to start a few new trends.

& it’d be the perfect jab to Jimmy & them — while establishing to the world that Cam owns the Diplomats, & giving the project enough PUBLIC EXPOSURE to actually sell a record in this climate.

sad but true… that’s why the Dips stopped fucking with them as much. they still grab a beat every once in a while, but nothing classic happens anymore.

BUT — they do need a NEW production squad, that bring some new NEXT shit, & let them fill the Heatmakerz void. something extra triumphant.

honestly, the “getting back together” thing isn’t important — Jim played himself out. & Juelz kinda fell off too, he doesn’t have that youthful exuberance anymore!!
I guess Cam could let them feature a lil, just for the “reunion” buzz of it, but THE REAL FOCUS should be on some new young creative exuberant triumphant Harlemites & letting them run with the Diplomat mantle, under Cam’s tutelage…
