Trendhumper: Fanny Packs
Joining the influx of ’80s trends terrorizing the streets, the infamous touristy pouch known as the fanny pack is popping off these days in London, Tokyo and New York. Back in the late ’90s, there was a brief period when jumbo-sized North Face fanny packs were the move, but in 2009, the travel-sized accessory is going a little style-forward and high-fashion. You can’t front on the functionality (perfect for your wallet, passport, bottled water, and, er, lipstick, etc.) but is the man-pouch look a little much?
