Complex’s Lifestyle Editor Bradley Carbone recently took a trip to Dublin, Ireland, where he visited the Guinness Storehouse and St. James Gate Brewery. While touring the source of suds, he got a valuable lesson from one of Guinness’s brewmasters about the proper way to pour a pint. Watch the video below…

At my favorite bar, when they pour the guinness, they carve a 3 leaf clover into the top of the rich foamy-ness with the spout on the tap. nice touch.

Wow. You must go to a really nice bar. Most bars I go to the men are drinking PBR. haha. :)

    XOXO

Sadly, and despite what you Yanks love to think, Dublin does NOT look like that.

The castle you were standing outside is NOT the St James Gate Brewery, and Ireland, let alone Dublin, is not simply farms and sheep.

Quit with the stereotypes, and the rest of the world will quit stereotyping you.

    [/end rant]

Any idiot barman putting shamrocks onto pints of Guinness deserves a smack in the gob. Its never done in Ireland and its purely pandering to that “Oirish” sterotype we’ve been trying to shake off since that cursed Quiet Man film.
