Jim Jones Covers Our December/January Issue!
Ah, Jimmy Jones. You thought he was done after “Ballin’”? Think again. With a starring role in an off-Broadway play called The Hip-Hop Monologues and his latest single “Pop Champagne” terrorizing clubs around the nation, it’s official: Capo is back in a major way.
In early 2009, Jones will drop his fourth album (and first major label look) Prey IV Reign, as well as a fitness DVD, a Damon Dash produced documentary and a role in Starz drama Crash. By now, we're sure you read the Daily News article about Dame Dash’s comments, but get ready for the full story. In our Jim Jones interview (with an assist from Dame), he speaks on Jay-Z, Cam'ron, Kanye, Max B, and of course the controversial T.I swag-check that we leaked weeks ago. This nigga think he a trend setter cuz he swagga jacked Bon Jovi and shit, what a lame. Real talk that last cd he dropped had good beats and hooks but that was only cuz of Max B. Jim is the worst rapper and adlibber in the game yo this dude should stick to wearing LV blankets on his head and call it a day, its a wrap for u doggy…..

OKay, I know that this is silly but this is coming from a woman perspective. I was jealous (he’s got a women, I could tell this with that song on his album don’t push me away with rel singing in the back ground,like I would ever meet this man in my life, I prefer to meet game, yeah) but the worst thing a man can do in the public eye is show too much love in the rap game. With that said This dude is in it to win it, I am really digging him cause he’s not letting this hate stop him. He name himself jimmy jones so don’t that tell you something, this dude was an occult leader took his congregation on a trip to kill their asses including his-self, don’t you know this dude is serious and he got a serious Gorilla behind him. Dame isn’t all the way broke but he is very smart. Also I don’t agree with that rapping past 40 this game is the only game that put an age limit on a career, that’s dumb right there and they wonder why so many children is getting done in the streets. It’s a blessing to see another year and to gain the knowledge of age. What he need to do is just keep grinding. I like you but you can be mashed on like the next so don’t look at life like that, man, look at what you got to come up on and make it your’s do you and stay true, what your heart desire you’ll get. When I purchase this issue of Complex I’m going to have to maneuver it out of the store Zooey side up. I may even have to brown bag it. I disdain anything having to do with Jim Jones. His music is lackluster/uninspiring, all he does is spout a bunch of ODB-esque ass chatter (No disrespect to the Dirt) he’s like a less popular 50 cent if that’s even popular these days. MTV probably wouldn’t even produce a Diary called “Life After Ballin’” for this guy, and they air practically anything. It’s the Holiday season though, everyone’s gotta eat and you guys are pretty generous picking up the tab.
I’m still laughing at the Aubrey O’Day cover choice – she looked like a deflated Jenna Jameson if THAT’s even possible. I go to Bastardly, you all couldn’t of picked a better rib!?

Yo 1st off congrats to my man Jim (pause) On everything he’s doin now. But yo this guy kicked his way in the door. He’s put out cd’s every year. Got the documentary out is gonna do another one a book a cd he’s acting a work out dvd. He’s the hardest workin guy in the game right now an he talks about real life sh1t. Like some rappers say they did this or got that an its bull. Jimmy speaks the truth. A yo im about to go in right now no homo. But Yo Jay-Z is done an what i mean by that is he won the rap game he did it all in a great fashion he dont have to prove anything hes done. But Jim is on the same road. The back to back albums coming out every year. Like who works harder then Jim?? People say that Max was writing Jim’s sh1t so what if he did thats music for you if you didnt know everybody does it. His styles is crazy everybody dresses like him Mannnn i saw LL Cool J wit a damn chain on his hip Jay-Z too lil wayne i can go on an on. Dont hate on this dude man. I dont know what really happen wit him an Max but I know that they made great songz I hope Max B does well. thats all i gotta say about that. Cam hmmmmmmmm I just dont know man. An Mr West he’s a hard worker to so it is what it is i have nothin bad to say about his. YO JIM DO THE DAMN THING BOY WORD BALLIN MY N1G I MEAN MY OBAMA.
