A History Of Suge Knight’s Fall From Grace
SUGE SELLS DEATH ROW TO NO-NAME INDEPENDENT LABEL

• YEAR: JUNE 2008
• WHAT HAPPENED: After incarcerated drug dealer Michael “Harry-O” Harris and his wife claimed that they raised the money to start Death Row in the '90s, a judge forced Suge to pay them $107 million. After over a decade of breaking no new artists, this signaled the end for one of the most powerful hip-hop labels of all time. When it went up for auction, The Row sold for a measly $24 million to Global Music Group, home to such superstars as “Return of The Mack” singer Mark Morrison. We’re waiting for the 2Pac collabo.
