The 5 Illest G-Rated Cartoon Chicks

disney-princesses_opener.jpg
At Complex, we love to straddle the line between classy and crass. However, recently we’ve noticed that we have been a little on the crass side. What can we say? We love breasts and bongs.

But let’s not forget: Complex is for the children! Okay, not really, but when we aren’t watching porn and rap videos, we like to think back to more innocent times, when our fantasy girls were brightly-colored cartoon broads. It’s with that in mind that we bring you the illest cartoon chicks ever. And it takes more than just beauty to make a cartoon chic ill'she’s gotta have conviction, smarts and loyalty. We put together our starting five below…

#5: JASMINE

MOVIE: ALADDIN
WHY SHE’S ON POINT: She’s the definition of a rider. The Princess of Agrabah could have had any baller in the entire kingdom, but she chose to go with a lowly street dude that was barely making enough to feed his pet monkey. Even when her father got saltier than McDonald’s mouthwatering fries, she still pushed on. And not only was she a chest champ, she made hammer pants look good.

#4: FA MULAN

MOVIE: MULAN
WHY SHE’S ON POINT: To save her pops from having to enlist in the army, Mulan straps up and takes his place, whoppin’ ass along the way. She’s so G she saves the General’s life. Most guys would be turned off by a woman more powerful than themselves. We on the other hand like a little foul play. Word to DMX

#3: NALA

MOVIE: LION KING
WHY SHE’S ON POINT: When Simba played her and bounced to the jungle to get his mind right with Timon and Pumba, Nala kept it tighter than a McDonald’s Snack Wrap in the event he’d return. You gotta love a chick that holds you down when you go OT.

#2: CRYSTA

MOVIE: FERN GULLY: THE LAST RAINFOREST
WHY SHE’S ON POINT: With the world coming to an end and all, it’s nice to have a girl in your corner that cares about the environment and has the smarts to combat its destruction. Devotion is sexy. Brains are even better.

#1: SALLY CARRERA

MOVIE: CARS
WHY SHE’S ON POINT: ‘Pac said it best, “I don’t want it if it’s that easy.” Despite being hollered at by the hotshot race car Lightning McQueen, Sally, the local attorney (Ms. Independent, holler!), kept her composure, leaving Lightning with blue bolts. She was also one of the sexiest cars on the planet, a pristine Porsche 911.

Animephilia is one thing fellas, but lions and cars? Cartoon anthropomorphilia is crossing some kind of line.

I enjoy cartoons however,in this day and age people who watch cartoons are engrossed with sterotypes,as a result sometimes cartoons protray females and males in a negative light. The women from barbie for example, look like super models with the big bobs, long hair etc, inaddition we can not forget about the context the cartoons use to express an idea or thought. I feel Cartoons should be rated the same way movies are rated for the simple fact the some children should not be allowed to watch cartoons; or cartoon like characters such as Family Guy, because family Guy is not for children ,but perhaps some children are allowed to watch explict cartoons. I remember the days when i used to watch cartoons as a kid they were great, i watched Duck Tales, punkie brewster, tom and jerry which i still watch. Back in the early 80’s children watched cartoons for fun. Today many of the cartoons have a way of depicting violence which draws adults and children in, because it is for sheer entertainment. Many children who watch cartoons probably won’t understand the underlining themes because they are too young to understand exactly whats going on. It is our Super Heroes that America likes because they save us from the evils of the world. Well put statement we love fantasy as well as “classy” cartoon characters that appear on our screens.

The problem isn’t cartoon makers, but parenting. Kids shouldn’t be watching family guy.
