‘Leaders Of The New Cool’ Week: The Cool Kids

What does the future hold for hip-hop? If you ask us, there’s a ton of fresh talent on the verge of making a big impact. To help usher in the new class, we recruited five of our favorite new acts to appear in the magazine’s October 2008 fashion story “Leaders Of The New Cool.” You’ve never seen The Cool Kids, B.O.B., Charles Hamilton, The Knux and Wale quite like this before.

Each day this week, we will also be dropping a video interview with one of the artists. Today, we’ve got an interview with Mikey Rocks and Chuck Inglish of The Cool Kids, who go in-depth on their fashion favorites, including some old school Chicago and Detroit influences. Watch it below…

KnuX and B.o.B are the best shit to happen to hip hop since Kanye. Quote me.
